Wardley is of course blameless. He was always a fraud. But that's OK. He has bills to pay. The mugs who thought tonight was going to go differently or that a guy who quit vs Joe Joyce is da graytess.... They're the problem.
Dubious is the best action fighter out of all the UK heavyweights I've seen. But you lads would rather watch Johnny Nelson fight
The utter utter lack of conviction with which that was said reminded me of that kid in school you used to whisper answers to when he was being grilled by the teacher. Me: "say X to the power of 4" Him:- shgtgghy EX pwRs Foooore" (smiles dopily) Teacher :...... "sit down cunt.... "
Edit:-feebles might have missed it but DuPont actually referred to himself tonight as "The Entertainer"..... with his big Scott Joplin face on him.
Alas. It seems to have been ever thus. I watched the fight tonight with a guy who boxed and beat Kevin Finnegan as an amateur and who was in the crowd the night Chris Finnegan fought Bob Foster. I bought him the fight because he gives me cash jobs maintaining properties and explaining Landlord Tenant law to him. He's 84 now and was utterly shocked by the promotion, the female refs, dolly birds doing interviews etc. He was openly calling Michael Gomez Jr blowing his own title fight. Good eye. He did a bit of bird in Wormwood Scrubs in 1961 for nicking coal. He barely recognizes any of this shit anymore. On the way around to his house I paused at a bus stop to avoid two birds I used to know (they were closing up a shop) and had the pleasure of witnessing a hooded tattooed mong openly toking Class B DRUGS at the bus shelter I ducked into. Like I said he did actual time for fiddling his book as a coal driver. He only got caught because-- get this-- the Dept of Weights and measures stopped his truck for a random check. People actually doing their jobs. Different times.
Yes but things were a little better at one point. The more I think about it the more obviously fixed the Wardley vs Parker fight was.
Daniel Dubois has more wins over former, current, and future Heavyweight World Champions combined than Tyson Fury
Hes not the most durable guy for sure. That was a bad loss but hes gotten a bit grittier since then when he was 23 and never fought anyone worth a damn
Had a feeling this was just a waste of time. Wardley offered absolutely nothing other than being a punching bag. He’s taken far too much punches for him to be allowed to fight again. Needs to look after his health.
Yeah. But Fury has done far better with common opponents. Never quit. Never lost to no Ponderosa Joe.
Yes. All his fights apart from one, win or lose, have been by stoppage. At least you know you're never going to get a boring clinch-fest, or a safety first points win.
