I read your posts before, and I was replying to your post before that called Silva "stupid", and was retorting with the fact that he has been damn successful for being a "stupid fighter".

I never said yu said he was inferior, ...I said you said he was stupid, which you did.

 

Silva did absolutely nothing the first time he fought Arona. he was dominated. The 2nd fight was at least closer but I thought Arona won there to. :19: I hate to say that because i hate Arona. Wouldn't mind seeing Rua bashing his head again though once he recovers :jester:

 

I think the judges got both of them right....the second fight was closer than the first though

i have heard that dana white is going to allow wanderlei to use a shotgun in this match. chuck will have his hands full with a shotgun in his face. i think that the idea of letting silva use a shotgun is the only way to ensure a fair fight. but chuck could still win b/c bruce lee has been revived and is teaching chuck how to dodge bullets, but apparently chuck got mad at bruce and shot him with a shotgun. go figure. i have heard wanderlei is a decent shot so it should be interesting. GO Micheal Jordan.

chucks bombs vs silvas skills? hmmmm... i think silva is gonna win. i dont think that silvas rage makes him fight stupid, it actually is plus on his corner. dan henderson could throw bombs and silva took his punches. the funny part is that it looked like silva got even more pissed off everytime he took one. i think silva might take acouple of bombs but as soon as he gets pissed off, its over. itll end with chuck against the cage eating acouple knees to the head...sorta like how rampage got destroyed.

 

Henderson is one of my favorite fighters, and one HELL of a puncher, but few are in Chucks league when it comes to KO power...I dont think Dan is one of them

Chuck moves more now and looks to counter more. Problem is Wandy is so aggressive that once you throw a shot at him it set him off. And every one of his shots are both hard and fast. And he DOES NOT LET UP! He has incredible recovery time from hard shots taken and has hurt two heavyweights in Cro Cop and Fedor Emelianenko.

And even though MT is his base discipline, Wandy also knows jiujitsu which gives him another ace against Chuck.

if Crocop, Hunt and Rampage can't knock Wanderlei out, then Chuck certaintly won't either.
Chuck has allwayz been outclassed when fighting a top notch striker except for when he beat Belfort.
Rampage outstruck him, hell even Randy in their first fight

My mistake on that. I was watching a taping of a match between Silva and one of the Japenese heavyweights (can't remember the name) and I thought I heard that Silva had fought and been defeated by Fedor via submission, hurting Fedor with a punch along the way and even damn near knocking him out, and I thought I heard it was one of their open weight tournaments. Pissed me off too cause I've been wanting to see them fight for some time now. Thanks for the correction.

Chuck's power will not be a factor as Silva has INCREDIBLE recovery time from a shot and fights even harder when he's hit.

His punches are'nt just wild either. They are fast, all hard, and all well aimed as I've seen him train on the focus mitts with the same combos.

Chuck won't have the luxery of waiting on a chance to counter because Silva has 1 gear, whether you initiate punching or he does, he's all out nonstop fighting, punching, kicking, and kneeing you til you don't get up. Even on the ground he's moving striking and looking to scramble to get back to his feet.

It won't matter whether it's Pride rules or UFC rules, I go with Silva by KO.
