Im pretty pumped for this.....UFC 62 Mir has been sloppy as fuck as of late, and Vera is a young up and comer who seems to have loads of talent, but is untested.... I think if Mir shows up without his absolute best game that Vera will push the pace and break Mir's will.
According to Vera, the fight ain't happening till maybe UFC 64. Mir looked like shit in his last fight at UFC 61 only a few weeks back. He's done and ready to be eliminated from the octagon permanently.
err, MMA Weekly is saying the fight is happening at 62, which could be better for Vera....Get to Mir before he gets his shit together
Cool. yeah, there's no reason why Vera can't capitalize on a very broken down and out of shape fighter.
we were both wrong....What I was thinking was 63, not 62, and apparently the fight will be at 65, not 64 like you thought.....:nixweiss:
I'll go with Vera if they do fight. Vera seems to have it all. Size, ground, and stand up skills and the right attitude.
