Let me get this straight. Are you trying to tell me that the reason Mayorga has been looking like shit lately is because he's past his prime? Utter ridiculous ness, the guy has always looked like shit. The Forrest KO was a lucky punch and nothing more. He couldn't even land anything against Spinks. The guy sucksass and barely even throws punches correctly. You guys do realise Mayorga was always overrated don't you? I mean extremely overrated.

Margarito KO's the bum, at some point.

Mayorga had an unorthodox offense, but so did Muhammad Ali. So did Roy Jones. That offense worked for him, and in his prime, he was a very dangerous welterweight. His prime ended when he could no longer make 147.

I'm actually gonna go with Mayo ...

Mayo has fast hands - well atleast allot faster then Margarito ...
Margarito has shit deffense and tends to stand off balance.
I think Mayo with his hand speed would land some huge power shots and leave the slow handed Margarito trying to cover up after he had already been hit. Eventually some of these shots would hit their mark.

Mayo wins because he has faster foot movement and hand speed ...

Yeah , Mayo was perhaps overrated but Margarito is way overrated himself.
    He is another Baldomir ...

The problem is Mayorga is more overrated than both. At least they knew how to throw punches correctly. I'd easily pick Baldomir over Mayorga at any point in Mayorga's career and it's the same with Margarito. Other than Forrest he's dispatched better opponents in more impressive fashion than Mayorga has.

Mayorga IMO would have definitely beaten Bumlomir.

There are no definites in boxing... Well to be honest their are a few, like when I said Oscar would definitely beat Mayorga, that was a rare instance of a definite. However, like I said, definites in boxing are extremely rare and trust me, Mayorga beating Baldomir isn't one of them. Especially when you have nothing of substance to base that on. What makes it so definite? Is it Mayorga's awesomely overrated punching power? Or Mayorga's outstandingly horrible and practically nonexistent boxing skills?

Are you trying to say Margarito has skills ?? Margarito's hand speed is that of a 70 year old man ....Not to mention he fights off balance , squares up straight on when he punches , lunges from across the ring and is finished throwing his first punch 3 feet before he reaches his opponent leaving his face wide open, and he has no deffense ...

Yet he still looks 10 times better than Mayorga who punches like a limp wristed girl in downward chopping motions. Mayorga is nothing more than a toughman who got lucky and Margarito's much better skills and overall toughness would easily dispatch him.

I've wanted these two to fight since Mayorga KO'd 6 Heads 4 years ago.

Margarito would have defeated any version of Mayorga.

Better Boxer takes him out in later rounds, or wins by Decision.

Margarito IMO would stop Mayo late or with bodyshots midway, but early on Margarito could get caught cold and hurt by the wild Mayo..

Either way it will be a war

Tough match that would need to be held in a steel cage. Margarito by a close decision.
