I don't know much about Pride FC, last night was only the second one I was watching. I've only seen capped fights here and there and never really noticed that woman before.

Diaz lost a close as hell fight. If I remember right it was a split decision in what was a real good fight. You make it sound like Diaz got beat down which certainly did NOT happen.

I'm not sure but I think Dan Henderson is the first fighter to hold two world titles in two different weight class at the same time.I think that's some historical shit there.:2:

Keep crying. Diaz got beat and that's that.

Parisyan is a top 5 fighter in a stacked weight class, and Diaz even though he beat Gomi, beat a much smaller man than himself. I mean Diaz usually fights at 170!

Yeah it's pretty high up there in MMA history. I have to admit I had a good jump for joy seeing Silva getting dumped on his back. :2:

I don't cry about anything, I tell shit like it is. You don't seem to accept the truth so well. The fact is Karo-Diaz was a very close fight that it was a split decision. Is Karo top 5? Let's see, GSP,Hughes,Sanchez,Penn and Fitch. Sherk would be ahead of him to (considering he beat Karo 2 times), but he moved to LW and is the champ there. Well, Karo isn't in my top 5 but maybe he is in yours. Karo is kind of like a gate keeper who will never be good enough to be the champion. As for Diaz-Gomi, Diaz said he had no issues making the weight. Gomi cuts a good bit of weight as well and they fought at the same weight. Diaz is just a more well rounded fighter than Gomi. :nono:

Diaz got beat, plain and simple. SD or not, Parisyan tax that ass already.

Fitch is not Top 5, but that's all opinion, he's not in my Top 5.

Karo can be champ if he solves his stamina issues but by his own admission, he's a dough boy. B)

As for Gomi, he is much smaller than Diaz physically, and used to fight at 155, Diaz could fight at 185. Diaz is obviously the bigger man. :nono:

There is no 155 division in Pride. Ever think about maybe that is why Diaz went to fight at 160 in Pride? Probably can't make 155 but he can make 160. Considering all the weight Gomi drops I doubt he can make 155 either. Diaz is tall and slender while Gomi is shorter and stalkier. BOTH GUYS ARE LW'S under Pride rules and Diaz beat him.

Karo will never be champion of anything, he's not strong enough. When he fights very strong guys he losses. I'd pick Fitch to beat him in a heartbeat. All the other top 5 as well. Karo will never be much more than a exciting gatekeeper. Get real. Saying that a guy "taxed the other guys ass" is basically saying a guy dominated a fight. There was certainly no domination in Karo-Diaz. it was a very close fight.

Diaz is naturally bigger, anyone can see that.

Karo taxed that ass, Diaz got dumped on his head. It was a good fight though.

Karo for champ in 2008! B)

Don't matter if Diaz is naturally bigger he made the weight. Kind of like St Pierre at 170. He is ridiculously big at 170 but as long as he makes weight he deserves credit for all his wins. Karo will never be champion of anything. He's not good enough.

Didn't Karo give St. Pierre a very very tough fight himself?

I don't understand why you think Karo is not going to be anything when he clearly gave St. Pierre one of his toughest fights in the UFC. B)

Karo is GOOD enough, but he doesn't have the dedication to get in the best shape. If Karo was in better shape he would've beaten Diego, fact.

I felt that Karo beat Diego, but GSP didn't have much trouble with him. That fight was like 3 years ago, though.

Depends on what your definition of very tough is. As for your last sentence, no that isn't a fact it's an opinion. Diego helped Karo get tired and beat his ass in round 3. Karo is not championship material. Never will be either. He will be a contender/gatekeeper for a bit but he will never win the title in the UFC at 170.

That's an opinion like many others. B)

I thought Karo lost to Diego by the slimest of margins, it could've gone either way, but Karo gassed enough in the 3rd for me to say Diego won it by a notch. I think Diego would give St. Pierre a great fight. B)

I still think if Karo ever decided to come in shape, he'd tear through the 170 pound division based on his grappling and GnP.
