Anyone watch the first episode of mayweather/odlh 24-7?

I gotta admit, I watched it, and while I am still not sure I will order the fight as the u/c sucks, it did whet my appetite for the fight.

I'm sure it will be 3 weeks of shit talk, then a boring fight...

I didn't watch the first one and probably won't watch any of them.

I figured it wasn't intended for boxing fans...which is why they've been running adds at ESPN.com and other sites.

I'll be honest and say I don't think this fight is really intended for boxing fans.

There's plenty of other match-ups that interest me more than this one.

 

It cannot be a boring fight actually. If you think it'll be boring, you just haven't correctly analyzed the styles.

As someone whose all time favorite is Pea Whitiker, I do enjoy the "sweet science" as opposed to the Merchant Orgasms over someone like Gatti.

The best part was Roger Mayweather laughing uncontrollably at the end. That was funny as hell.

Hopefully, in the upcoming episodes they show more Oscar/Mosley sparring footage.

 

Is there anybody here, including all of Floyd's fans, who want to see him take a big shot to the chin? Just to see if he can really take it? I really hope he gets caught with one ala Jones/Tarver 2.

I don't think Freddie is an arrogant asshole, it's probably just the show and the promotion that he seems and sounds like a tool to some people. Agreed on how annoying and contrived-sounding both DLH and Floyd are though.

 

Damn, I thought Freddie was the best thing about the show. I thought it was interesting seeing him shaking over a cup of coffee one minute and then going hard on the pads with De La Hoya the next.

 

:dunno: I don't get the Roach was/is Arrogant...thing...:dunno: ..him and mosley were the better part of the show. Though Mosley did not have to say he wasn't doing the sparring for money...it sounded like he wanted some.

Maybe the arrogance from roach came when he was working the pads...and told DLH come one push me off you, it's a fight fuck him(mayweather)...:dunno: ...he wasn't like the Mayweather crackhead brothers..talking about how great they are...as trainers.
