If he was THAT big a puncher he would not have a loss on his record. How is such a huge puncher going to let a guy with a broken jaw make it 12 rounds? He can't hit that hard really.
Miranda would get killed at light heavyweight. You guys all have Mayorga syndrome... except Mayorga actually has a win over a top guy.
That's the dumbest thing I've read in - literally - days. Most of the biggest punchers are so reliant on their power that they don't become well-rounded fighters. Shavers, Satterfield, Julian Jackson, Foreman - they all have losses on their records.
her name is Heloisa a singer. This is the first time I see a dude complaint about seeing a Brazilian Godess. WTF is wrong with you? :notallthere:
And they all fought great fighters and most of all of their losses were by KO to great fighters (not talking about old Foreman) because they went out to win by KO or go out on their backs in the crunch, Miranda could have done ALOT more. Do you honestly think that Julian Jackson, McClellan, Hearns or a guy like Hagler would have fought Abraham like that late in the fight? They would have been on Arthur like a Lion on a wounded wildabeast.
I was referring to a specific fight and you know exactly the one I'm talking about. If he was such a huge puncher Abraham would not have taken many flush shots from Miranda to his jaw that was destroyed. Seriously, Miranda is the new Mayorga.
I think one small pic would have been sufficient. I just see your username and think your a girl, thats all.
At least Mayorga was fun and unpredictable especially at press confrences, Miranda is just annoying imho.
I thought this thread was about who's power could follow with them the best into above weight classes? I never said Miranda could beat LTHW's. I said he could bang with them. comparing Miranda to Mayorga is right on the money. Mayorga had great power too. Both are one trick ponies. I don't think Miranda is all that but he does have good power and he could take it up and hurt guys at 168 and 175opcorn:
Bob Stallings, Ron Standler and Tex Cobb were great heavyweights?!?!?!!?!? Doc Henderson, Wesbury Bascum, Sam Baroudi, Albert Johnson and Bob Foxworth were great light heavyweights? Shavers and Satterfield are both continually ranked among the top 10 or 20 hitters of all time, but they lost to shitty-ass fighters. Your original post was retarded.
Mayorga was ghetto as hell, he was just brutal in his shit talk and never claimed to be the best fighter on earth . Miranda actually thinks he is a skilled fighter. He's alright, but the guy is getting stopped soon with his shitty ass defense.
The most powerful fighter I've ever seen was Juan Manuel Marquez. I saw him in the bathroom once, and everybody stood 10 feet away from him. He pissed so powerfully that everything within five feet of him got soaked in urine. True story.
She's pretty cute but she looks like the kind of chick who would get super fat when she has a couple of kids. opcorn:
Hold up Wiki Warrior, I said most, you had to throw Satterfield in the mix? And if my last post was retarded about all the hardest hitting middles not choking like a bitch against Abraham and being on him and going for the KO late then why dont you go ahead and give me your wikitheory.
Satterfield was one of the biggest-hitting fighters of all time, and he lost a-plenty. Buddy Baer was considered the biggest puncher of his era, and he had tons of shitty losses.
I'll go out on a limb and say Paul Williams.. At 6'1" with an 82 inch reach and a Tommy Hearns frame, Williams gets great leverage on his shots. He will probably be able to bang with guys at 175 someday..
I vote for Wladimir Klitschko! He's the most powerful fighter in boxing today. I dunno about this Marquez going up in weight nonsense....I wont even give that a comment.
