    PBF vs HOS

No that we've seen that Floyd is tough as well as supremely skilled, how does he do against Duran at 147.

Remember he'd box and move against Duran and not take too many chances.

Duran beats the hell out of Floyd at 147 or 135.

Duran had no issues timing Leonard, who is closer to Oscar's height and possess Floyd's speed.

Duran mauls Floyd. Unlike DLH, Duran actually KNEW HOW to apply pressure, and his sneaky right hand would land on Floyd. Duran is a terrible matchup for Floyd. He'd be on Floyd's ass non-stop the entire fight, and Duran in his prime did NOT tire. Duran by UD.

Duran would probably maul Mayweather, but Mayweather wouldn't sit in front of him the way Leonard did in their first bout. It would be a tough fight for both men.

Duran would be the worst type of fighter for floyd. Think about what some basic pressure from castillo, de la hoya's sporadic pressure, and even little jesus chavez accomplished against floyd.

Duran would chase him down, maul him, pin him against the ropes, land body shots, and land the big right hand all night. He'd beat the shit out of floyd.

Duran at his best, was the best pressure fighter ever, he had great timing, underrated speed, skills, applied intelligent pressure, and had brilliant come forward defense. He was also not tentative like de la hoya.

Roberto Duran is one of the most overrated fighters of all time, especially in terms of skill. He was a dirtly little cunt brawler, who held more than John Ruiz. Lance Mayweather would make Roberta fat ass quit like he did against Leonard. If Leonard was a pussy runner(which he was) the word pussy runner would be a compliment to the estrogen laced style of Lance Mayweather.

Anyone who has Duran in their top 10 all-time needs to get their brain checked. Duran quit like a pendeja in his match against Leonard in a fight he still had a chance to win. He wasn't hurt, he wasn't dazed, he just bitched out.

Out of the 3 others on the fab 4, Duran only beat Leonard and that was Leonard being stupid as fuck.

Mayweather would clown this guy and make him quit again. Mayweather by Quit Round 7.

Duran is the best fighter ever without question. Anyone who disagrees doesn't know boxing. The only arguments that can be made for fighters above duran are Robinson and Armstrong.

Duran was the perfect attacking fighter. He would have fucked floyd up.

You fucking idiot, Duran was past it, out of his weight class, and didn't even really look like he wanted to fight that night. Hearns was a 6'1 lethal puncher with the frame of a super middleweight.

Duran still went on to prove himself, even age 38, against a big middleweight who could punch, Barkley. The guy who KO'd your favourite fighter.

And no I don't think you can argue leonard over duran. Duran was a natural lightweight, moved up, and bashed up not just prime, but PEAK undefeated Leonard.

If leonard was that good, why didn't he KO norris? Just in the same way Duran didn't KO hearns?

Duran didn't deserve the decision against Barkley. Steve Kaczmerik, that idiot who scored last night's fight for Oscar, also took a part in the Duran-Barkley robbery, and he scored Leonard-Hearns II for Leonard.

I think the Duran 'robbery' of Barkley is one of the most overrated bitch sessions of all-time. Barkley finished that fight on his backside, eating shots. He deserved to lose, IMO.

Either way, Barkley won at least seven or eight rounds, and two of the judges had him winning three or four rounds. I just don't like it when people bring up this fight as proof of how great Roberto Duran is.

Moronic. In a Basketball game would you say the Suns lost a game against the Spurs because the Spurs out scored the Suns 25-10 in the 4th quarter, but Suns outscored the Spurs 75-50 in the previous three. The final score is Suns 85 , sPURS 75. aLMOST coming back doesn't count. Stupid fucking point. At the end of the fight, Duran needed a kayo and he didn't fucking get it. He was losing handily until the end.

You missed his point. The fight was reasonably close, and in a close fight, you have to finish strong. Barkley didn't.

It was not close and you have written so several times. I know it is hard, but try not to be a cunt all the time.

I'd NEVER raise this fight. Barkley was an erratic at best, average chump at worst, kind of fighter. He was nothing special at all.

Duran beating him is nice, especially at that age....but Duran's greatness came @ 135 and early on @ 147. Everything after that was wildly inconsistent.

    BINGO

    Right on the money

Those later resurrections are the icing on the cake. But the real fighter did all of his best work before 1980...THAT is the fighter guys like yourself or myself are talking about
