Evangelista is a stupid fuck. It doesn't matter if Jose was right or wrong, when the fighter is pissed off at you, you should just turn and leave the ring on your own and get out of his way. It was a tough fight and Jose needed to worry about one thing only..winning. Evangelista got in his face after Jose elbowed him. That's for after the fight.

True, Evangelista didn't go apeshit crazy or anything, but you don't try to win arguments inbetween rounds with your fighter.

I agree this is bad! Miguel Diaz is a very good trainer. Cotto should stick with Diaz. On the other hand Cotto can bring in someone fresh like Roach.

Cotto trains like he fights...slow methodical...taking his damn time..maybe that is way he always gets tired in the middle rounds. He should train faster even if he doesn't fight like that....like Mayweather..all that flashy moves in training...8,000+ punches..then fights like he's asthmatic.

 

I take it this incident with the Cottos will not be talked about too much

 

I think it should. Word is Cotto's uncle will not train Miguel for June 9th. I wonder who will replace him!
