    They Need That!

The twinkie thing was a good smart gimmick move to add to the anticipation of the fight! They are going to need more gimmicks to have a very successful ppv night.

How awesome is this fight going to be: a messy, brawling middleweight vs a feather-fisted, boring middleweight.

Fight of The Summer indeed. :bears:

Well you better hope at least one of the 5 punches per rounds Bernard throws is a hard one.

Bernard's gonna load up with knockout power and break through what is deemed the impenetrable defense of Stiny Winky.

Hopkins won't beat Winky. He's just not active enough. Winky is going to walk him down and jab the shit out of Hopkins. Winky is going to win a UD on activity alone. This ain't Tarver, Winky isn't going to wait on Bernard all night. He's going to press the action and Bernard's workrate cannot compare to Winky's.

You're probably right. If BHops had 1 punch power, I'd give him a great chance. But he's a lazy fighter, it takes him at least 11 rounds to get going.

Can you imagine trying to put together the highlight real clips for the TV commercials?

All those blocked shots and parrying are going to have the non-boxing fan drooling to watch the fight.

I don't know Z. I can't get a real vivid picture on how this one will develop but I can' imagine Hopkins being kept at bay with a jab. IMO Hopkins big problem will be his ability to get at Winky inside.

Meanwhile Winky's big problem will be finding a way to score on Hops. Both of these guys are defensively solid. Hopkins has the inside game and Wink has the counter punching edge... if he can walk Hopkins down and position himself.

I made a huge thread about this about 2 weeks ago calling this PPV card a "Formula for disaster."

I basically said if this card doesn't have the undercard of undercards, it's going to be a massive failure. Stinky and Bore-nard couldn't sell 200,000 buys with hardcore pornography being broadcast in between rounds based on their styles.

"Jab the shit out of Hopkins"?

    Out of Hopkins?

You can't just walk Hopkins down. What's the matter with some of you guys? Don't you know how to analyze styles? Hopkins isn't some stationary one dimensional target like a Tito or even a Shane...Hopkins has great and versatile movement: both legs and upper body. He keeps you guessing...much like Floyd. Plus he's taller than Winky, rangier, faster and more power.

    What's the matter with you?
