They fight on June 9th...I like Jaidon in this one although he could get hit with another monster hook and good night. Jaidon TKO 5

what was the source of all the hype surrounding codrington? did he show a lot of promise coming up?

He punches hard and is fast and flashy. Based on his last fight against that fat ass with a beard I dont think he has the mental to go far. It seems like New York fighters are all brain dead dimwitts.

He did because he was 9-0 with 9 knockouts against weak opposition. Him and Curtis Stevens began calling themselves the chin checkers and they got alot of hype. They brought lots of fans to fights, and some showed up to see if they would lose.

Codrington actually had talent though. And he showed lots of improvement in each fight. To top it off, he was not caught up in all the hype. He was actually cool and level-headed. Then he got knocked out and still makes mistakes. I didn't expect them to put him in there with Marlon Hayes or Sheika so soon.

Shieka should just put Green in his corner. Codrington would shit himself at first sight:laughing:

    I see Shieka stopping Codrington.

    Good LITMUS Test for Codrington...

If he CAN'T Beat Omar Sheika, then we Can Stop Wasting Our Time Talking about him....

Well, he is 15-1 now and Sheika has the record, and probably talent, of a decent journeyman right now. I think it's a relatively safe fight for Codrington.

Even so looking through Codrington's record, Sheika would probably be his best win.
