Which fighters are consistently bad. I will get the ball rolling. In no particular order: 1. Cory Stinks (Cancer to the eyes) 2. Zahir Raheem 3. Junior Witter 4. Ricky Hatton (last 5-8 fights has been more holdman than hitman) 5. Jose Luis Castillo (except for the Corrales fights) 6. Joel Casamayor 7. Johnny Ruiz 8. Fres Oquendo 9. Rocky Juarez 10. Domnick Guinn NO NOT CHRIS BYRD HIS FIGHTS WITH MCQUUEN, TUA, IBEABUCHI AND GOLATA WERE GOOD HATERS.
Not as bad as the guys above, but from 2004-on, Bernard Hopkins has been pretty damn boring. I did enjoy watching him humiliate Tarver though.
Ian Gardner. HOT DAMN that should have been mine. His fight with that son of that 80's dude was THE WORST FIGHT EVA.
Doing an interview with Gardner, he suddenly points over my shoulder into the crowd and says: Hey look a fight. It was obvious he had never seen one.::
I've only seen a couple fights with Raheem, so I'm not sure exactly how high on the list he should be. But it takes quite a stinker to be involved in a boring Erik Morales fight. I bet he could even make Manny Pacquiao boring.
I saw him in the amies. I remembered him because of his stink style even then. He won by a landslide and people were looking at their watches. It must have been 10 years ago. My god, I wish I had liquidated him WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE.
If you gave Cruz a scored clean shot point for everytime Raheem initiates a hold, he'd be up 4 rounds to nothing. Raheem is the worst.
He should never be on tv again although I have said that for years. The guy is terrible and a cheat. He wins fights by totally stinking it out and slapping some shots at his demoralized opponent. The referee should be fined. After the 3rd round, I would have taken a point for each hold and by rounds 6 he would have been dq'd.
No. I will now have to add you for making a suggestion. I am sorry, BMB. We are old friends, but the rules are the rules.
I don't understand why u clowns even watched the raheem bout when u knew full well what he does I'd add ler, john brown, butler, gainer
Mainstream fans simply want to see the best boxers go at each other. So-called "hardcore" fans are whiny little bitches who complain about the fights being boring since the guys actually block the punches with something other than their heads. When you watch the best a sport has to offer: the Superbowl, the World Series, the World Cup, the Olympics or a boxing pay-per-view, it's usually boring. You'll almost never see a Corrales-Castillo ending in a major championship. No one has come behind from a 25-point deficit in the fourth quarter of the Superbowl. No ninth inning of the seventh game of the World Series ends with a 10-run, ninth-inning blowout, ending with a one-point win.
I figured he was the inspiration for this thread. I almost forgot how bad he was before tonights fight. He wonders why nobody pays any attention to him? :dunno: Even the announcers who were doing their best to kiss his ass threw in a comment after the fight. "Allen Green looks better just standing in the ring with his sunglasses on, then Zahir Raheems fight looked tonight" ::
Well, we go way back. I hate to see him go, but basically unless you agree with everything I say, you are genetically inferior and therefore need to be liquidated. It makes me sad sometimes. With you, it would be a three day weekend. I would make in nice, slow and acid filled. I saw Zahir well over a decade ago come to think of it, mid 1990's.It was awhile ago and I still remember the total silence of the crowd. I could identify with the crowd tonight. I have been there.
