Taylor would knock Abraham out 10 out of 10 times. He might suck but JT is 5 levels above Abraham who is the worst title holder in boxing, without exception.
Yeah, whatever. I´m sure he´s worse than guys like Mzonke Fana, David Diaz, Shannon Briggs, Enzo Maccarinelli, or Stipe Drews. :: :: Has Taylor even knocked down a top 50 middleweight?
So Winky Wright can SUCCESSFULLY Back Taylor Up for 12 Rounds, but Kelly Pavlik CAN'T???... REED:dunno:
The only way you could excuse Taylor for NOT fighting Pavlik next is if he instead took on Arthur Abraham. Other than that, Taylor must fight a top challenger IN HIS OWN WEIGHT CLASS. But you heard it from his own mouth...not his promoter, not his manager...he will fight whoever brings the most money. Period. Taylor has zero credibility left, as far as I'm concerned.
:nono: Ah, he's still got a few years left to play around, take a look at Fraud Mayweather between the period 2002 to 2007... it never stopped his reputation from excelling beyond extremes.
:nono: Sorry, but it's logical, for you see, at Fightbeat, boxing is centred around Fraud Mayweather, somebodies gotta try and act like the fucken pivot, besides which, take a captain cooke at the Taylor hate, the unanimous grit is so strong that it's blinding, therefore if I can bash Fraud in every second thread Im sure to upset someone,..
Yeah,it's Getting OLD... When NOBODY Else Mentions or even THINKS about "Fraud" U can ALWAYS Count on Kaukiprrr to Do It... REED
Well, surely you know that this deep hate clearly shows your frustration with the fact that hes not losing.
believe it or not I don't think taylor gives a fuck about your concerns... these guys are PRIZE fighters, that means c.r.e.a.m.
He's the great fightbeat standard, and when you bash Jermaine Taylor ironically in "kaukiprr like" fashion, Fraud is the fighter I'm naturally going to make reference, for you see, he has set an endless amount of 'Fraudulent' precedents that you seem to overlook when bashing another fighter of your choice....namely Jermaine Taylor..:nono: Fraud has single handedly driven the sport into the dust, so all I have to do during these adverse times is open up the book. :dunno:
Jermain Taylor ISN'T the LEAST Bit Comparable to "Fraud" Mayweather:nono: ... Resume,Accomplishments,Talents... N EVERY Regard,"Fraud" SHITS on Taylor... The Soooooooooner U EMBRACE this FACT,the Better Off U'll B,Homey... REED
...and if enough people don't give a shit anymore, that means the amount of the PRIZE goes down. That means b.r.o.k.e.
you'll be watching no matter who he fights. you sedentary fans amuse me for criticizing a guy who is risking his health for going after the highest payday....
More fights like last night, and all of Taylor's fans will be sedentary. Or perhaps you didn't see the sparse crowd last night? :: @ the thought of Taylor "risking his health" against the likes of Cory Spinks. I thought the crowd for Taylor-Wright was bad...last night was embarassing.
Taylor's Jab Isn't THAT Good...Neither is his TIMING or ACCURACY... & it DOESN'T Take Much to MAKE Taylor NEGLECT his Jab Either... Sure,Taylor's TALL & Loooooooooong, but let's NOT Pretend that he has a DOMINANT Jab... He DOESN'T... It's Not BAD,per se,but it's NOT a Fight Altering,CONTROLLING Jab Either... REED
I thought we established how overrated Taylor's jab is. Or at least Hopkins did. Did you forget those numerous rights he swalowed against him? Imagine those coming from a PUNCHER?
I thought we established Kelly Pavlik's defense and ring intelligence aren't close to Hopkins'. :dunno:
His timing doesn't have to be great against Pavlik, Pavlik isn't getting out of the way of it. Pavlik's slow and his chin will be in the way of Taylor's jab all night long. When Taylor sees an open and available target for his jab, he will let the punch go.
If Hopkins was Pavliks size, he would have never brawled on the inside with Miranda, he would have fought on the outside
He won't have to be. Who's a bigger puncher, Miranda or Taylor? How about this one - when was the last time Taylor scored a KO over someone other than a sparring partner? Or wait - when was the last time Taylor threw a decent left hook? How about this one - when was the last time Taylor faced a puncher? Taylor is regressing. And he carries just as many questions as Pavlik. A victory over Pavlik isn't etched in stone. Sh*t, I wasn't even sure he was going to beat Cory Spinks last night.
When's the LAST Time Taylor Showed a CONSISTENTLY DOMINANT Jab???... Joppy??...Edouard???:dunno: ... Like REED Said,Taylor's Jab isn't BAD,but let's NOT Pretend that it's a CONSISTENT Weapon of his,Either:nono: ... @ BEST,Taylor has a "SomeTIMEY" Jab... REED
1 Other Thing... NO,Pavlik Most Certainly DIDN'T Resemble Meldrick Taylor or Roy Jones N the SPEED Department, but by that Same Token,REED HASN'T Seen the "Slow" Kelly Pavlik that Others Continue to Reference... Pavlik's AVERAGE or Perhaps SLIGHTLY BELOW that N the Speed Department, but NOT "Slow"... REED:nono:
It's amazing how much one win - over a fighter as flawed as Miranda - and some cheerleading can do for a fighter. Miranda is a bigger puncher, but he's not as physically strong and he has aboslutely no jab to speak of. I'm not a Taylor fan, I think he's severly limited and give him no chance against Calzaghe or Kessler...and have been saying that for a long time. I don't think Taylor beat Hopkins or Wright in any of their fights. I've said that continuously since the fights occurred. I don't see Taylor knocking Pavlik out, but he will hit Pavlik repeatedly with his jab and Pavlik's face will swell and he might cut at some point in the fight. Taylor hasn't fought that many punchers - most of his career before fighting Joppy and Hopkins was spent against jr. middles, as has most of his career since fighting Hopkins - but I don't think his chin is as vulnerable as some are suggest, though it has been protected.
Agreed. I fell asleep midway through the 8th so I'm not sure how many rounds Taylor won after that. But I could count on one hand the number of clean punches he landed before that.
