Well if it does, Tito should take one fight before he beats up that bum

Damn. This is a new low for Taylor. He's obviously been dropped or hurt or KTFO in training.

Taylor's a mirage. How he beat Hopkins I'll never understand. And I thought he lost to Wright.

More than a few people claim that Andy Lee was smacking him around from one corner to another whenever they sparred.

Lee is Irish. Thats to be expected.

On a serious note, Lee is a tall southpaw with an impressive amateur pedigree.

Tito is nothing of the sort.

I agree, Tito is far from an unproven Olympian with a few Ws against bums.
Tito's act is almost as tired as RJ's at the moment, retire or be active...I would take Taylor, simply because he has won more fights in the last 2.5 years

LOL at you guys. Tito wouldn't be able to do nothing to Taylor right now.

I'm just saying that gym wars with shifty olympians and real fights against more str8 up opponents can be different scenarios. Thats all.:dunno:

Uh, thats the point we are making.

Taylor is back to his old tricks.

    :nono:

If Taylor is really a stand up guy, he'll fight Miranda.

It certainly is a better fight for Tito than Winky was.
Tito ought to take a fight before though, any fight just to shake off some of the rust.

Agreed. Tito should take a tune up fight against...MIRANDA first. Miranda has the perfect style for Tito to look good and get his confidence back.

which is probably the reason Taylor will fight him, and not Pavlik or Slappy.

Tito, as an opponent, will work to discredit the claims that Taylor is avoiding punchers, while at the same time, satisfy the criteria that the opponent be a natural 154 pounder and past his prime.

Taylor is a fucking joke. Now he's trying to pull smaller guys out of retirement.

    I agree.

If he doesn't fight Pavlik (or Calzaghe) next he's a joke.

Isn't his mandatory due? Should he be forced to start negotiating with Pavlik? If he fights anyone but Pavlik he needs to be stripped. Especially if it's a retired fighter. Tito isn't going to be ranked, so how on earth is he allowed a title fight?

This is what i was thinking. Pavlik has already fought 2 final eliminators this year.

Me and my cousin were talking about this the other day, I don't understand how he beat the great Hopkins even though I had (Taylor)losing the rematch.

the only question now is if Taylor is smart enough to recognize that basically, his promoter doesn't think he's any good.

i bet Taylor "tries" to fight Tito, doesn't get it made, and ends up facing Verno Phillips.

Ok here are my 2 cents. Tito is my fav fighter but to be honest I don't think Tito can do it. He's been inactive too long and from some recent pics that I have seen Tito is pumping 200+. A pre Hopkins Tito totally smashes Taylor and gives him a career ending beating. But not this version of Tito. My biggest concern now is Tito's timing and conditioning. He's been out too long.

I hope Tito stays retired even though I would love to see him retire champion!
