“Big†Lou readies for “The Real Deal†Rock Solid's popular heavyweight bomber “Big” Lou Savarese is training and hitting hard in preparation for his upcoming clash June 30th with 4-time heavyweight champion Evander “Real Deal” Holyfield. The bout will be held at the Don Haskins Center on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso and promises plenty of fistic fireworks between two come backing, no-nonsense heavyweights who both realize that this could be their final opportunity for one last shot at boxing’s holy grail, the heavyweight championship of the world. Savarese (46-6, 38 KO’s) is looking to put an end to Holyfield’s (41-8-2, 27 KO’s) quest for a fifth championship and make the former ring great the third heavyweight champion he has defeated along with Buster Douglas and Tim Witherspoon.
The best result would be a 1st round DQ win for Evander where Lou hits Headutter "accidentally" low, making him inable to produce anymore bastards to this world. Lou then would get his license taken away and the quick victory would earn Holy a chance to fight Wladimir Klitschko, where he would get muredered:bears:
Why don't you come over to El Paso and ask him your request in person instead of me? You wanna see me get killed, huh? I'd give Lou a run for his money, but if you want to see my execution, you are gonna have to pay a lot to see it.::
I'd rather these two fight each other than some young kid who can tear their heads off... ...wait, it's heavyweight. There aren't any of those. LOL
That is my new working location, but smart boxing fans are everywhere. And where were you at Diaz-Freitas? I still owe you a drink bro.
Wladimir would beat both of these guys in the same night. Senseless. I'm glad these two old bums are fighting each other. Lou needs to pay the Vig, and Oldyfield has more babbies on the way.
the funny part about this thread is that Cliff is about the only person on the entire forum for which using the word brother towards Karl wouldn't be considered a shot:: cheersopcorn:
Katsidis is a BALLSY fight and that should be a joy to watch. I'd prefer to see Juan go after Joel but logistics is gonna' push that back to at least the fall. Juan ain't losing to anybody at 35 for a while; I want to see him snatch full claim to that crown.
Good Fight Katsidis is a good banger, though I picked Guzman to beat him. If the fight comes off between him and Juan, he will nail Diaz with several good shots coming in, but ultimately, Juan's superior conditioning and fighting heart wears him out to a late TKO or wide decision win. It will surely be a "fan favorite" fight for all of us boxing fans out there. Karl
That's the beauty of the fight; it could produce to matinee-style STARS. Hell, it could produce a career type rivalry.
