Holyfield vs. De Leon on ESPN2: 11:00 EST

Awesome. Never seen this fight. It's on ESPN2 tonight, 11:00 pm EST.

Was this a good fight?

 

Can't remember for sure... but young Evander was always fun to watch.

 

if you don't like De Leon, sure.

 

Great fight if you want to see Holyfield at his absolute best. Holyfield in his last fight as a cruiserweight was as destructive as any fighter in history..

 

It is an asswhiping. It is not a classic fight by any means.

 

Maybe classic in the sense that Holy unified the Cruiser titles or that it was his last fight at that weight..

All I know is that if you look at the transformation of Holyfield from his first fight with Qawi to his rematch with Qawi and the Deleon fight, it is amazing. Holyfield was as strong and dangerous as he ever was.

 

This Shit was ADVERTISED for ESPN CLASSIC a Couple Nights Ago...REED Tivo'ed it...

Then,when REED Sits Down to WATCH it,REED Ended Up Watching that Poker BULLSHIT...

WHY is that SHit on a SPORTS Channel ANYfuckingWAY???...

Carlos was already past it when they fought, and had a couple of good moments in the fight, but it was all Evander.
Holyfield was the best cruiser ever without a doubt, IMO.

 

No doubt, but to be fair...thats not saying as much as it would if we were talking about 175 or 200+ pounders.
