Round one is over. Demers is pretty crappy... I've been following him for a few years now. AA probably won the round.

Good, safe comeback foe. AA looks back to what he was showing pre-snapped jaw. He fits in very nice with Pavlik or Taylor.

He's the absolute worst of the bunch that was being hyped out of Montreal two or three years ago. I've been saying AA is crap for a while now, but at a world class level. Demers is crap at the club level.

I disagree, Demers got talent, he's probably not on the world level, he's far too flawed for it, but he's a good ankward fighter. Tonight he froze, I didn't expect him to win, but he was pathetic. Also, the stoppage was ridiculous ( it was awfull in the Potvekin fight too ) not that it would have mattered anyway, but tonight refs made sure the locals went home with the W.
BTW,I'm no fan of either Demers or especially L'Heureux.

demers never should have moved to 160, with his style, he needs to be the bigger man in the ring.

Oh? Can you please point to the precise moment in time that Arthur Abraham went into your "book of crappy fighters"?

It would be ever so great to find out just when you arrived at this conclusion.

I don't intend to speak for Steve_dave, but my guess is that he arrived at that conclusion, when he saw Abraham quit against quite limited fighter in Miranda (this, after promising to put Miranda in a hospital during a pre-fight press-conference).
Abraham even surpassed Vitaly Klitschko in a rare display of complete inability to put his money where his mouth is, when, instead of putting Miranda in hospital, as he promised, he himself ended up in hospital instead.

    Oh, no......Another whiny Euro!
You see, Orto, you seem to have a wrong notion about what constitutes toughness. For some reason, you adore quitting pussies like Vitaly and Abrafag, but when the push comes to shove, they whine and moan. And so do you. See the similarities? :cheer:

This Demers guy must be a club fighter. You have to suck royally to be kayoed by the worst titleholder in boxing in weights that matter. AA is garbage. Frankly, he is the worst middleweight title holder in history besides William Joppy.

He dominated and stopped him without paid off judges and bs point deductions. He also didn't get free plastic surgery or a few weeks in the hospital. That's what he did.

We'll see. He's crappy among good fighters. The guy, for the most part, fucking sucks.

    As an elite fighter.

I would love to read your argument that he is good. Have you seen him fight. AA is the worst middleweight belt holder in history except possibly William Joppy.I wait anxiously for any possible argument you could have.

Because you can't. You can say you love him and he might potentially be good but his best win , legitimate win, was against Kinggsley Ikeke. I thought he struggled and lost to Eastman and struggled with Jantuah. Edison Mierda proved to be just as bad as I predicted and he nearly ended Abraham's career. A simple midwest prospect destroyed, dominated and stopped Mierda something "Mr. Great" NEVER came close to doing. Pavlik outclassed Miranda; Abraham needed shoddy judges, a German home court and BS deductions, including a 5 minute or longer medical examination DURING A FIGHT HE QUIT IN!! There is nothing Abraham has done to make me think anything I have written is even inaccurate as your ridiculous statement that anyone who thinks AA is not a good fighter should find another sport. AA wouldn't last 12 rounds with either Pavlik or Taylor. He'd even lose to Sturm.
