http://www.fightbeat.com Going through some tests. I'm currently hosting No Holds Barred with Eddie Goldman. Feel free to give it a listen. Cupey
Well, not really music. It's a radio show. I figured people would know what I mean, but I guess some people need a little extra help Cupey
Rubio, why do you have "faggot" under your name? No longer a senior member? :: I miss the trademark speedbag sounds on the intro of the interview, been a while, too long
You're nothing. That's the point. Your knowledge of the sport is weak, and without your mod status, you'd be another Reed or Slystaff. Basically, you're Jaws. You knew I'd take down my sig if you asked, but you decided to troll anyway.
I want to turn my bedroom in to a studio, but I need some funding. Having a radio show again is one of my goals.
Cool. BTW, do the Ducks have a chance. I am watching Hockey for the first time. This is my first Stanley Cup.
Yeah they do. The Ducks are probably the best team in the league with Pronger and Niedermeyer on defence. I picked them to go all the way in the west.. figured they would be playing Buffalo, but Ottawa was my second pick. Ottawa is on fire and they're the hot team going in... but there's such a break between rounds that it might not matter. The Ducks could shut them down... they have a VERY good chance.
That was good if you are into that kind of stuff I guess, but I'd like to see a show about boxing--what happens inside the ring. That other kind of stuff is for Maxboxing. Let's hear about what happens in the gym and in the ring from now on would be my suggestion.
I never heard of Jacqui Snow until listening to the show, but if she's on the show, she should be given more time to talk than Eddie. When Taffet was on, he spoke and Eddie basically remained quiet until it was time for the next question. With Jacqui, Eddie kept dominating conversations, not giving her a chance to give full answers or for her to even counter his comments. Also, FightBeat should look into cutting a commercial on the show, rather than all of the ads going to IFL. Most of the show was about the boxing PPV market, yet all of the ads were MMA. The site is affiliated w/ Star Boxing, so you can even go that route, have them cut the ad, and package it with FightBeat. Would've been a good way to hype up their June 9 Showtime card, which according to this broadcast, is a rare one that isn't on PPV. Getting back to the ads and balance between boxing and MMA, Eddie ends his show asking to check out his BOXING show on SecondsOut.com. This is creating the perception that this show is NOT primarily about boxing. I understand that getting into bed w/ Eddie Goldman means having to showcase other sites (like SecondsOut). But that note at the end - and as Karl mentioned the lack of any actual boxing discussion on this particular podcast - is telling me that as a boxing fan, I'd have to go somewhere else to get my boxing fix. My 2 cents anyway.
That's because the show isn't OUR official show. Basically it's a show provided to us by Eddie Goldman and will be one our MMA shows. This isn't our boxing show. The player we are currently using is also temporary until I get the custom player that I'm happy with and has the features I need. I hope that explains it. Cupey
