I would like to thank all of my fans for the hundreds of supportive emails I have received since my fight against Kelly Pavlik. I don't feel he's acting like a sore loser. He gave Pavlik credit, he only said that, when he's 100% no one at his weight can beat him, and every world class fighter should think like that

 

Seriously *Z*, and keep in mind I DON'T like Miranda, you don't think Miranda looked flat that night? I mean, I've seen most of his televised fight but he really seemed to lack energy and that from the opening bell. I might be wrong though but as an objective observer I really felt I wasn't seeing the best Miranda had to offer. It could be due to Pavlik and even at his best he might have not beaten Pavlik, but I can't help thinking that something wasn't right with him that night. I repeat, I can't stand the guy so I'm not trying to make up an excuse for him or anything. I've watched the fight 3 times already.

I wish he was honest. He should have said that he lost because he doesn't know how to box.

 

It's hard to say. Yeah, he looked bad, but how much of that was because of Pavlik? Who has ever attacked Miranda like that from the opening bell? Who has forced him backward like that? You lose snap on your punches when you're being pressed backwards. Miranda always leads, he doesn't counter.

 

So Amin Asikainen will be the new mandatory challenger for Abraham and likely fight him on August 18th.

 

True, you're making a good point, Abraham moved him backward but not to that extent.

 

I really dislike Miranda though, it's hard for me to put any thought into posts about him. I'm so overwhelmed by hate. I'm like Double L when he talks about Floyd. ::

 

Exactly, which means Abraham will get spanked unless he pulls a Sylvester and tries to avoid the fight. Objectively viewing anyway

 

The only THING that looked flat that night was Miranda's ass when Pavlik's cock got done slapping it::

 

Sylvester is scared. They have postponed the fight like 4-5 times and the fight with Abraham is only eight weeks later, so Asikainen will forfeit his title and Sylvester can fight a scrub for the vacant belt. Brilliant strategy by Sauerland.

I would have more respect for Asikainen, if he hadn´t struggled so badly with that bum Sipos. If Asikainen has any excuses for the poor perfomance, this is the thread for excuses.::

Pavlik was winning regardless, but there's no doubting that Miranda was weight drained. He looked like death at the weigh-in, and that was on his first try, when he was still almost a pound over.

 

Anyone could see that Miranda was weight drained. I made a post about this right after the right. Shaky legs, gaunt face, no snap... he was totally drained.

Did it change the outcome of the fight? Probably not, but it did give Pavlik an advantage.

 

:crafty: hoo hoo hoo hoo HOO!! go on, build him up again,..I don't mind, yes, yes he was weight drained, now he can be UNSTOPPABLE, UNBEATEABLE, at supermiddleweight,...there are no good fighters up there anyway...none whatsoever, as Illuminati says, it's the weakest division in boxing. :crafty:

 

It's OK, he will get beatdown several more times at 168 for everyone's pleasure as well :cheer: I could care less about excuses. Once you get into the ring you proclaim yourself fit and ready to fight.

For once we agree. There was obviously something wrong with Miranda, he looked weak even before the bell sounded. But as of now, it's up to him to show that's why he lost by winning his next fights and hopefully setting up a rematch with Pavlik down the line.

 

He should redeem himself by trying to get Abraham back in the ring. Then he can stop crying about being robbed in that fight.

 

What was Green's excuse? I must have missed it.

 

He thought his feet fell off, he had to keep looking down to make sure they were still there.

 

He was weight drained. Plus he's a vegan. He's always gonna look like he is some emo bitch with AIDS.

 

It doesn't matter how many times he says "I give Pavlik credit", because he immediately tried to discredit Pavlik's win by offering an excuse..

My feeling with fighters that lose, or any athlete for that matter, is that if you make the decision to compete then keep the excuses to yourself. I don't care if you have your leg amputated during your ring walk. If you choose to hobble the rest of the way into the ring, then accept the consequences without excuse.
