how did they say he was out of shape? I highly doubt that his weight is a problem. Hell, he was a smallish jr welter, usually weighing less than welter on fight night. Never seen him look anything but fit even when he's not fighting. Did the long layoff finally change that? Or just out of shape like his stamina isn't there?
Elaborate please. The only article I read on Judah's training said he was getting good sparring from the Peterson Brothers, who were studying Cotto tapes and emulating his style. Also remember reading an article saying he was battering and dropping Juan Urango in their sessions.
I wouldn't believe that without video proof and sworn affidavit by urango that he was trying...and even then I'd doubt it
