...how old and ugly the crowd was? I wasn't paying attention to it until the camera went up close, scanning the crowd inbetween fights and damn!!!!:eeeek: I'd say the average age of the fans in attendance had to be in their late 40s to 50s and they were a whole bunch of old farts. No disrespect but they looked like the StingerKarl type of crowd of the "In my day, our athletes were so much better" type. Where's the youth gone?:dunno: I guess it's true, the sport is dying out with the ageing fans. Where's the young killing machine who's gonna come around and ignite the boxing world again?
S'up Oc? I watched the fight over at Jagdeep's house live on ppv, channel 456 on Dish. Jagdeep lives over in Caledon and has Bell ExpressVu and Dish Network. I drive there for boxing/mma events but I have to bring beers and potato chips every time.
Shamone Alvarez was probably the one cat on the card that could possibly appeal to anyone under 50. The 30 and under section was whatever media made the trip to cover the event
The place was remarkably attended for such a shit card. So...how do we spin this to say boxing is dying?
