 More accomplished at welterweight?...His record is 4 - 3 - 1 nc, one of his victories is a contraversial split decision over Rafael Pineda  that's some staggering shit Illuminati, basically you're saying that Zab's a better opponent than Margarito?...a tougher challenge?..'more accomplished, more proven'..and coming into this fight off a 2 year losing streak?... ...please stop it.

    Judah KO 8

Too fast, too powerful, and too many punches coming from all angles will overwhelm Cotto, who didn't look very impressive in his last fight, and whom I believe is underestimating Judah BIG TIME.

And as a result of those sparring sessions, Oscar publically admits that he'd never fight him as a pro  .

    Please think.

He won't fight Margarito....cause Antonio is a NOBODY, not even mexican know who he is, he will fight Williams in california in a more than half empty arena......AND to think all those sparring session with great fighters and Margarito still has shitty skills, he most be a slow learner.

Shit Golden Boy Promotion offer up Winky Wright for the fearly avoided Antonio Margarito..what happen...Arum and Margarito didn't want none?

I got Cotto by 9 rd TKO with Judah taking a knee in the 8th.

My initial thought was this was a tossup, that Zab could keep moving and use his speed but then I remembered how easily Cotto took care of that trackstar Malignaggi. The Judah who beat Spinks could probably beat Cotto, but I don't think he'll ever be at that level again. Going off of Cupey's inside info and Cotto's pressure, I'm picking Cotto.

    Cotto UD

Cotto is a very good fighter, but the one problem I have with him is a lack of killer instinct. This is a pretty big fight for him, so I doubt he'll go for broke.

He could stop Zab is he gets him hurt and decides to finish, but I don't think Cotto is going to be taking too many chances, so a decision win is what I see.

i disagree with this. Cotto has plenty of killer instinct. if anything, he's too aggressive sometimes.

Cotto's biggest problem up until this point, IMO, has been his willingness to fight one B fighter after another, without ever facing an A level guy. and in choosing Judah, this is no exception.

He doesn't have killer instinct. He usually fights at one pace and never really goes for it. I think he is too patient sometimes.

I think Cotto, being the consumate body puncher has been taught to take his time and let his body attacks take their toll before going in for the kill. This makes sense. Would you rather go after a guy who is hurt, or a guy who still could ring your bell? You see Cotto's killer instinct when he goes to the body hard.

I can't recall seeing a pace change in Tito either but he always got the job done. Even when he hurt someone he never charged into them with blind fury, it was always a calculated attack with Tito and I see the same thing with Cotto.

I just dont think Zab has any intangibles that he needs to get him over the top. Skill wise Cotto is better. Talent wise I give the nod to Zab. All things being negated Cotto has been in there tough and gutted out wins...Zab folds when the going gets tough (Pineda, Baldomir, Spinks I, Mayweather)

if Zab cannot get Cotto to think twice about coming in he is doomed to a one sided beating. If he can garner some respect then it becomes interesting

Make no mistake, Tito did have killer instinct.

Well maybe not against nard and wright, but everyone else. When he had someone hurt, he turned it up a notch and really tried to take their head off. He was a patient stalker generally speaking, but he had killer instinct, he was a pretty good finisher.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like Cotto has such a lack of killer instinct as to render him crap, I just think he is a little lacking in that department.

I am not talking about attacking in a blind fury, I am simply talking about having a killer instinct. Cotto seems a little too workman-like and patient sometimes.

Cotto isn't even big for a welterweight. He's be a dwarf at Middle. Can you imagine him standing next to Hopkins at 6' 2" or Pavlik?

The guy is 5' 7". How is that big at welterweight?

Cotto is not tall, but he has a pretty thick frame.

Guys like Judah and Mayweather are about the same height as Cotto, but they seem thinner than Cotto.

i've always doubted Cotto's ability to rule at 147 because of his frame. and his fight with Judah will certainly not provide an answer.

when and if he takes on the likes of Cintron, Margarito or Williams will we know whether or not his stocky build will be a major limitation.
