what do u mean the likes of Cotto? A guy w/ a vulnerable chin and sloppy defense or a guy who can recuperate and put the pressure on for 12 rounds?

either way, Zab's a live dog against anyone at 147.

Well, I doubt he'd be a live dog against Baldomir.

I just want to add a couple thoughts here. Judah is going to land flush, we all know this but I tell you this, if he cant hurt Cotto, the fight is as good as over. A career ending beating Judah will take.

Early in Cotto's career I seen him taake some flush shots and wouldnt move. Pinto landed some bombs and so did Bailey. Both have decent power. Cotto didnt move. Cotto started showing signs of weakness when he started really struggling to make weight. This Saturday we will find out how good his chin really is. If Zab Hurts Cotto the fight is over. Zab will follow up with bombs Cotto wont see. If he cant hurt Cotto, Zab is in for a long night.

Zab's KO'ed BETTER Fighters than Bailey AND Pinto COMBINED...

He's a BETTER PUNCHER than Both...

It Seems like U're UNDERestimating Zab's Power & UNDERestimating Cotto's Recuperative Abilities...

REED FULLY Expects Zab to HURT & DROP Cotto...REED Also FULLY Expects Cotto to Weather the Storm & Eventually STOP Zab...

Abdullaev hits hard too, and he couldn't hurt Cotto. i really don't think Cotto's chin is as bad as people think. and i'll be surprised if he gets dropped.

I disagree with Cotto being able to recuperate if Zab hurts him (The way Torres and Corley had him). Zab is too fast and is a excellent finisher. Unless Cotto takes a knee and allows himself 8 seconds to clear his head the fight will be over.

what do you base this on? the second Spinks fight? other than that i can't think of one good example.

actually, if you watch, most of Zab's success has come from single shots, not follow-up. that doesn't make him a good finisher.

now, if he can disable Cotto with one shot - that's a different story. but nothing to do with his finishing skills.

ok. so where's the evidence of Zab's finishing skills that everyone keeps touting?

From the fights I've seen and can remember right now:

Negron: Judah jumped all over him and stopped him soon after he hurt him.

Sample: Judah was all over him

Bergman: Bergman was dropped early on, but was finished a couple rounds
later after he had but Judah down.

Millett: Judah dropped him in the 2nd, and again 2x in the fourth. Ortega stopped it too soon IMO.

Green: Judah got Green outta there as soon as Green was dropped and hurt.

Vester: Vester went down in the 2nd a couple of times, stopped in 3.

Spinks 1: not really a fair judgment since there was no time left. Judah should be blamed for taking so long to get himself in be in the position where he could finish Stinks. But not stopping him is not a knock on his finishing skills here.

Martell: terrible mismatch, Judah dropped him like 5 times. I think this is more a sign of a bad matchup rather than Judah's finishing skills.

Rivera: Rivera suffered the early flash KD, but Judah got him outta there in the 3rd when Rivera was genuinely hurt from the left uppercut.

Overall I say Judah is a good finisher. He does get too wild when he has someone hurt or stunned and leaves himself open (he even missed Tszyu's head in round 1 and punched himself).

Because of Judah's speed, guys tend to suffer early flash KDs because they're so surprised from the hand speed. Once his opponents are hurt, I think Judah finishes pretty well.

1punch - Zab's a one punch guy. and besides that, who has he knocked out?

Torres has a better KO percentage than that but everyone here claims he's a bad finisher. so which is it?

This is so easy to predict, I can't believe 10 people have picked Judah.

    Cotto. TKO7.

    All I can say is:

If Zab buzzes Cotto the way Corley did...with that much time left in the round, Cotto is not let off the hook.

see. this is the misconception that everyone has. Cotto was not left off the hook. he got hit with plenty of punches after he was hurt. but he weathered the storm. the guy is like a brick wall.

REED won't Say Cotto would have LOST that Fight, but Corley DEFINITELY Let him OFF the Hook...

After Hurting Cotto,Corley Did more POSING & PLAYING than PUNCHING...

An Example of Cotto WEATHERING the Storm is the Torres Fight...Torres Definitely Went for the KILL...

no one would've complained if the ref stopped the torres fight in the 2nd round.

as for corley, he had cotto hurt badly, but didnt follow up. that plus corley looked like a little kid compared to cotto who outweighed him by 17 pounds or so.

if judah stuns cotto and have him staggered, he'll follow up w/ some shots that would send cotto to the canvas.

we'll see if cotto and his team have capitalized on how to clinch since he seemed clueless last time he was hurt.
