He says he knows him and Cotto put on a great fight the kind of fight fans want to see. He also says and I quote "I ain't trying to make no excuses but I know the lowblows made a difference". Plus because of the lowblows he was urinating blood afterwards.

Somebody tell that bitch if he woulda put his tampoon in he wouldn't have had a blood leaking problem. What a fucktard. He's always looking for an excuse, he was looking for an excuse when his eye was swollen.

Nothing I hate more than when a guy doesn't do shit in a fight but then wants a rematch to try again another day. Bitch you should have tried to win the first time. You think people want to pay money to see you pull a Camacho!

I heard they had a rematch clause in the contract so I guess Zab can enforce it if he wants to.

Zab was clearly affected by the low blows.

Zab Said this N his Post Fight Interview w/Merchant...Even Said he'd Fight Cotto N Puerto Rico...

Cotto Should Wait til After the Margarito-Williams Fight,1st...If Margarito Wins(as Expected),Fuck Zab & Fight Margarito Later this Year...

If Williams Wins,Fuck it,Have Zab Come to Puerto Rico & WHIP his Ass Again...There'd B MORE Interest N a RE w/Zab than a Bout w/Williams....

I've never heard of a challenger having a rematch clause.

I would guess that's only in the case of the champion, Cotto, losing the first fight. I doubt there's a clause if Cotto wins.

Zab got a rematch with Spinks after he lost the first fight as a challenger.

You're right, I guess the rematch clause was only for Cotto.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins had a rematch clause against Tarver, or DLH against Hopkins, or Mayweather against DLH...

You didn't need boxingtalk for this information..Zab said THIS EXACT THING immediately after the fight in his interview with Larry Merchant!!:dunno:

If a lowblow lands and you don't have balls, does it still hurt?

I'll have to ask Judah that one next time he has a chat on Btalk.

Arum said before the fight that it would depend on how good the fight was if they would consider a rematch. But the plan was to fight Margarito at the end of the year assuming he gets past Williams.

he's begging for a rematch because he knows his days of huge paydays are over. Zab was demoted to gatekeeper status from this beatdown. Zab will never be a main event on a major card again. Cotto needs to just politely say there are much bigger fights to be made and let Zab fade away.

Cotto should probably take a tuneup first.

HEY! Why not fight Zab again?

which he should, Cotto needs to fight Margarito next, its the obvious choice. Granted Margarito does get past Williams which isn't a gimmie fight by no means.:nono:

The Welterweight division needs to be sorted out! Forget Zab. We need Floyd to get back in the mix and get him, Mosley, Cotto, Margarito to all fight each other and when the dust clears........................

a better tune up would be Cintron, lots of puerto rican pride on the line as well as a unification fight to boot. Makes perfect sense for Cotto, plus he destroys Cintron quicker than he did Zab.

Mayweather has no interest in fighting any of the above mentioned. He's worried only about a rematch with DLH, thats what his fans want to see, right?:dunno:

I don't see what people see in Williams. IMO, Margarito will beat him up and stop him around the eight round. Williams will probably be able to keep him honest for a round or two but once Margarito finds his rythm, I don't think Williams will have anything to keep Tonio off him. That long lean body will also be a target of choice for Margarito's hard punches. We will see Margarito against Cotto, I'm almost 100% sure.

I think what it is, is Margarito looked so beatable against Clottey. The problem is Clottey fights completely different than Williams. I think Williams is good, but if Margarito commits to the body, he will break him down no doubt.

is this how Cotto will manage to duck Margarito? Or Williams?

What people don't realize is how strong and durable Clottey is. Nobody at welterweight is going to have an easy time with Clottey. Not only is the guy tough, he is pretty skilled. He's just a solid fighter.

what's sad is there is probably allot of truth in this. Zab knows the big paydays are coming to an end

"I'll fight him Puerto Rico and we could sell out the Garden again it doesn't matter."

I like that "we" part. By all accounts, Zab probably had no more than 1,000 fans in an arena mere subway stops from his old crib. Yet "we" put 20,000 in the Garden.

well he did say he had more latino fans than cotto

I wonder if Zab showed up at the parade on Sunday to sit on the float with his boys Trinidad and Fat Joe.

Honestly, I think Zab put on an acting job in both of those low blows so just in case that he lost they can fall back on that excuse.
Varags was hit wayyyyy worse about 467 times and NEVER acted like Judah did.

  30. ILLUMINATI

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

It was great acting.....I actually think it was one of his strategies get hit low, cry and bitch....do it enough and Cotto would lose a pt and at the same time would be timid about going to the body....
