He'll probably get a shot at the winner of Margarito/Williams. Then we can "really" see who the best welter-weight is (by comparing how each guy does comparatively against him - how else would we know who the best welterweight is?)
I wonder if Zab can beat Cintron. That is the only winnable belt I see. But it's no longer a sure thing.
I thought the same thing. Zab's stock is plummeting. So it wouldn't be able to be a PPV, but HBO might put it on BAD.
:nono: ^ This is why Zab is the most overrated fighter in the sport, just dont say it, dont even say it!!!,..like most of us already prophecized, he will be getting whored out to paper titilists consecutively with the ilk of your permission, so thanks for contributing to the death of boxing you complete and utter bastard!!!:nono: .
only if its Williams will that even happen. I think he should take on Clottey. If he is really elite like some still claim then he should have no trouble beating the iron chinned Clottey. I don't think Judah deserves another crack at the title unless he works his way up. He has now lost his last three fights when a title has been on the line why should he get a fourth?
Judah should take on some scrubs to work on his confidence and get some money since he apparently has IRS problems. Then he may get another big money fight and lose again.
i was joking! my point was, he shouldn't get a shot. he should not have even gotten a shot at Cotto. seems like at 147 noone wants to fight each other, they just wanna fight Judah!
fuck a PPV, Zab should be lucky to be put back on HBO or Showtime. But he should aim for Cintron. It is the only winnable tittle shot I see for him. If he wins that belt he'll have something to bargain with and land another big fight with Cotto, Margarito, or the other big names.
Judah should stay away from Clottey. That is the biggest risk/lowest reward fight at 147. I see another clottey/chico end to that fight. Makes no sense. Judah should aim for a Baldomir rematch. People forget that fight was close at the end. Judah was wining easy until he was caught. But I still think it's a winnable rematch for him. Then he should try to land a Cintron fight. That is the only belt I see him winning. He is pretty much fucked against everyone else at 147.
Judah should take it easy......maybe a fight against S. Mitchell, a rematch w/ Bumdomir, or the winner of Gatti vs. Chavez Jr.
Judah vs. Gatti would be semi big event......but i think Chavez jr. might bring more money to the table.
All these guys got plenty of opportunities at a variety of different belts and belt holders...simply because once upon a time, fans thought they were good. Facts are, they just never could quite cut the mustard for any real period of time and became great examples of the manipulation that the ABC's are open to, simply to get paid.
Chavez Jr ISN'T Ready to Fight Zab Yet... Not that REED Thinks ANYTHING of Zab @ this Point...REED just Thinks even LESS of Chavez Jr...Zab woulda Stretched Grover Wiley N about 45 Seconds...He's a Straight Up BUM...Grover Wiley SHITS Tomato Cans... Zab-Gatti would B a Decent Event N Atlantic City...Zab could PROBABLY Still Beat Gatti @ this Point, but Gatti has a Puncher's Chance...It Makes REED LAUGH to Even Say that, but it's TRUE:: ... REED
as far as underachieving yes. But the expectations and talent level varies from all the people you mention. Omar Sheika accomplished less than all you have mentioned. I just wouldn't put them all on that group. Mago was a decent champion but he was never suposed to be great the way Zab was compared to Whitaker.
MAGO was considered a top 10 P4P fighter for longer than Judah was, bro. Neither of them were good enough for that kind of company, IMO.
well if he got that far is because he earned it not cause he was a nice guy. Maybe he overachieved somewhat but I dont' remember Mago considered some all time great not even in Mexico. He was just another good lightweight champion. Zab was suposed to be Whitaker with power remember? ::
And MAGO was the next Chavez. I remember both of those comparisons. MAGO was never a top ten fighter, IMO...neither was Judah...but they were both lumped in that category. It's a pissy argument anyway and there's no point in going on with it. Just thought I'd laid that out there is all.
:notallthere:no i wasn't fucker..:nono: I like Cómo Me Llamo Yo...:kick:don't make me beat you down Jewdah style..
