Are you a gambler? -140 odds on Margarito is pretty good for a result that you see as almiost 100%.

Maybe on the first low blow but the 2nd low blow was pretty fucking brutal. I saw no acting there.

A Guy w/CONSIDERABLY MORE Skins on the Wall than Paul Williams...Williams has YET to Even FIGHT for a World Title...Zab has WON FOUR of them N TWO DIFFERENT Weight Classes...

    Is their ANY Argument??

If Williams beats Margarito there's no argument for Judah, a guy who is 0-3 in his last 3 fights with 1 no contest.

actually, Illuminati's post makes sense(unless you're a Judah fan). Neither one of the punches were low, both were at the belt line. Judah was acting better than Denzell. Everyone knows it is a huge part of Cotto's strategy to work the body. Zab wanted to try and take that away from his gameplan.

Yes , because he will come out of retirement after all these guys fight each other ....
At that point Margarito will be older - not to mention he is a limited fighter anyway - and Mosely will be near 40 years old ...
Floyd will then pick one of them to fight , another year will go by before it happens ...

    This ISN'T about who DESERVES a Crack @ Cotto...Obviously,Zab DOESN'T:nono: ...

This is about Which Fight would SELL More...

Cotto vs some UNKNOWN Quantity (2 the Masses,Anyways)that Beat the "Overrated" Margarito OR,Cotto N a RE of a VERY Entertaining Fight???...

MORESO,Zab's ALREADY Said he'd Fight Cotto N Puerto Rico...Do U HONESTLY Think Paul Williams would B Interested N Doing that,IMMEDIATELY After Winning the Title??:dunno: ...

A RE w/Zab would Put MORE Money N Cotto's Pocket,it'd B N P.R. AND Cotto ALREADY Knows he can BEAT Zab...

    disagREED...

Initially,REED ALSO Felt Zab was Acting...But on the REPLAY,U Could CLEARLY See BOTH Shots Hit Zab N the JEWELS...

REED STILL Believes Zab EXAGGERATED the Effects of BOTH Shots a Bit(the 1st MORESO than the 2nd),but BOTH of the Low Blows were BELOW the Belt Line...

Having Said that,Zab DIDN'T Lose Because of Either Low Blow...

I just watched a couple of paul williams fights for the first time, and while the guy is obviously no bum, I think some of you overrate him.

He doesn't seem anything that special, and it's not like he has hearns type power.

I would not be 100% about Margarito beating him, as to be honest I am not sure just how good margarito is, it's not like he's beaten an elite fighter either.

But he should beat williams. Especially if he works the body, williams is stick thin.

Cotto would hammer both of them.

Williams Reminds REED of a Newborn Horse...Looooooooooong,GANGLY,UNSTEADY,AWKWARD...

Sure,Williams RESEMBLES Hearns PHYSICALLY,but as U Said,he has NONE of Hearns POWER,Doesn't have Hearns JAB,HANDSPEED,Anything...

Plus,Williams has a VERY POINTY Chin...No,U Can't Judge Punch Resistance on LOOKS,but Williams Chin LOOKS Weak to REED...U'd EXPECT a SQUARE Jawed Guy to Absorb a Shot BETTER than a POINTY Chinned Guy...

Even IF Williams Beats Margarito,REED Won't B SOLD on him:nono: ...He's a Tall,Lanky Southpaw who DOESN'T Use Any of his Built In Advantages...

The rest of your post meant nothing to me. I could care less about a rematch there is no need for 1. It's a waste of a fight for Cotto.

Like REED Said, then WHYthefuck R YOU Arguing???:dunno: ...From the Outset,REED has Been Arguing from the BUSINESS Perspective of things....

REED FULLY Explained WHY a RE would Make Sense....U're CHOOSING to AVOID it like the Plague...

A Fight w/Paul Williams WON'T Increase Cotto's Marketability or Cross Over Appeal ANY MORE than a RE w/Zab would...N FACT,Williams would Generate LESS Money,WOULDN'T Fight N P.R. & who Knows,he Might even BEAT Cotto...

So AGAIN,from the BUSINESS Side of things,Why SHOULDN'T Cotto have a RE w/a Guy he KNOWS he can Beat,On his HOME ISLAND & for MORE Money???...

a rematch with judah can be viewed as nothing but an excuse not to fight the winner of williams/margarito.

I do understand your logic, but from Cotto's point of view, I can fight anyone on my island and make that money. Why give a guy who disrespected me a cut into that loot? As far as ppv sales a rematch with a guy you dominated would do about the same as Williams. A rematch with Zab will only give ammo to the the haters that it was a worthless fight and he didn't challenge himself. A fight with Cintron holds more intrigue than Williams and tons more than a re with Zab.

I could care less about bussiness, it's a crap fight. I am a fan of good fights not what fighters earn. Cotto would get paid just fine to fight Williams as well. Also, Williams would at least be a unification bout. It's not like anyone is clamoring for a rematch anyways. How is that some big money bout?

REED is ONLY Pushing a RE w/Zab N the Event that Willliams BEATS Margarito (Which REED DOES NOT Expect to Happen,Mind U)...

Sure,HARDCORE Fans would Want to See Cotto-Williams Next, but N the REAL WORLD,Williams Offers NATHAN to Miguel Cotto...

REED would View it as Cotto Giving Williams a Chance to ESTABLISH Himself,NOT "Ducking"....
