Didn't realize he was fighting tonight! But according to Max Boxing, he is! Good news!

 

Bad news is he is likely fighting a stinker. Might not exactly be a fan friendly matchup

 

if that's the case, i just hope he doesn't lose. he became a little bit hesitant against Maligianni. he's playing right into the stinker's hands if he does that.

Nothing, I only know of Ferguson what I have read. If I had saw him fight and saw a good boxer I would bet him though at +300. I don't know enough about him though.

 

I've seen him fight. I caught his pro debut on the undercard of Mayweather-N'Dou...Floyd promotes him.

He's okay, not terribly exciting. I only took note of him because it was in Grand Rapids and they announced that Floyd promoted him.

From what I recall, he's not very tall, has decent handspeed but little power. Don't think he's a physcially strong guy, but again...I barely remember him.

Seems like he had fast hands and threw alot of meaningless punches...basically Floyd-lite.

 

Wes Ferguson is shit. The only thing he has going for him is that he's affiliated w/ the Mayweathers (I forget if he's a cousin, a nephew, or "just" a protege). They should call this "Loser Gets a New Job" - esp. if Cherry Bomb finds a way to lose.

 

Wes Ferguson? The guy who was supposed to fight Peden a while back? I wouldn't be suprised to see Ferguson make this look like a toughman contest. I doubt this is aesthetic.

Though with Cherry, a prediction never seems to be safe, other than how long the fight will last. I couldn't believe the odds were only -200 on the fight going longer than 9.5 rounds. (I think Hopkins-Wright is something like -385). It was the easiest money I've collected all year.
