That's fine tucker, only a friendly suggestion, spar a couple of rounds. Maybe you're not man enough yet? Don't have the confidence? :tease:

I certainly find it interesting to watch world champs train before the fight, shit hot rope technique, padwork etc, but to be honest mainly sparring. It's good to be able to evaluate a fighter before a big fight, see how they look.

BUT - you're trying to generate interest in yourself, which is fair enough, and if we saw some good sparring, you'd generate more interest for sure, rather than 10 minutes on the heavybag etc.

But you keep workin' it girl, anyway you see fit. You're the fighter, n'am sayin'?

PS - what happened to zab's chin being better than cotto's? :tease:

If that was the case I would actually start respecting Jake, that is impressive as hell :tease:

and u must be a cat who constantly finds himself discussing subject matters you don't know a thing about.

I look at your videos from the perspective of someone who has promoted shows, who manages fighters and who regularly writes about the sport. If other promoters or managers are looking at your videos and are saying "You know what, his asking price of $260,000 (or whatever amount you suggested) is well worth it" then God bless you, mission accomplished.

Watching training is all fine and dandy. I'm in boxing gyms no fewer than five days a week, just to remind you of how wrong you are about your earlier claim. But as far as videos go, it's mostly done in highlight reel mode - and accompanied by seeing said fighter actually step foot in the ring.

Damn, even if you gotta grab a cousin or a bum off the street, it doesn't matter. People claim this sport to be the Sweet Science, but fuck all that nonsense. It's one big con game, and it's all about perception. Slap some headgear on some unknown cat, and people won't care or know the difference. What they will see is how you look in the ring, and then from there watch you improve with each session.

Again, just suggestions. If you don't want to hear it, that's all cool. Just don't post the disclaimer that all feedback is welcome if you're too thick-skulled and thin-skinned to take it in. Instead just post an ad saying "Yes men wanted." Otherwise, holla back when you ready to make some noise, and best of luck to you.

You're just an old bald broken down Irish fart who has resorted to bullying the kid.:nono:

Seriously, there are people selling worse products out there.

I was at this fight once, somebody called Gunn was fighting...

Seriously.....Tucker is OK. He's harmless. Leave him be.

Don't fuck with Jake, he has a stable of great fighters. His best fighter is the great Marteze Logan. I'm sure you've heard of him, his reputation speaks for itself.

 ... but no, I don't manage him, and I'm not even saying all that. I will say again, I'd like to see G. Tucker make it, as I respect anyone who chases their dream, especially fighters. That part managed to get overlooked, though. When people only focus on and react to the negative, it's usually indicative of their character. That's the part that bothered me, but anyway I'll play nice, and move on.

All is well understood, but Zabs chin was actually stronger than Cotto, Zab had him in trouble early, Zab was hurt from a continuous amount of punches, Cotto was hurt from only one shot here and only one shot there...meaning his chin is weaker than Zabs!! The toughest chin in the world cant handle repeated shots, but the weakest chins in the world get hurt as soon as they get hit with a good shot, as Cotto does almost every time hes hit!!:nono:

Be fair Mex. Tucker is hardly the only one to think Judah would KO Cotto. I have found that fighters often make the worse predictions and many people seem to misjudge Judah.

I am quite sure we will see Gerald spar rounds. Is it really horrible for him to post training stuff? Some of us do take an interest in the details of training. Slow and steady wins the race IMO.

I was actually thinking of posting a video from my next martial arts seminar so you guys can give me shit. I was actually going to give Hanzy and Lok a copy with permission to share it with anyone who has an interest.

Don't matter if you have the training vid in a highlight reel format, SOME people(unlike yourself) respect and like to watch training, so to SOME people(unlike yourself) it wouldnt matter if it was a 20 minute clip of me hitting the speed bag, to each his own!! And I'm not going to go grab a bum, or my cousin, once I start to box it will be with whoever is in the gym training hard like myself, not to mention the many current and former champions that pass thru for their training camps, but its just you guys really wanting to see what I got...especially with the "lil" smack I talk plus its a macho world i'm learning here in these forums!! But the day will soon come for you guys to either compliment or insult my sparring, I will put it up every chance I get, even though some guys will not want me to put up a vid of me whooping their ass in the gym!! But like I said all comments are welcome, you comment like everyone else, did I not reply to your posts like I do the rest?...yes I do reply:notallthere: ... so where are u getting the I want "yes men" stuff from? And thanks for the luck..."very sarcastically"

Hey Tucker - to be fair I do think Zab showed a good chin and heart in this fight. I think what you're referring to is more a case of Zab punching harder than Cotto. Zab really can punch. And early on, he was loading up, firing with everything he had, trying to take cotto's head off. Where as cotto was just being his usual, patient self, wearing zab down.

There is no shame in getting stunned by judah if hit clean. Cotto's chin is fine.

Also Tucker - this is hypothetical because I am in Europe - but would you spar me if I visited your gym? I am not a pro, I've only had a couple of amateur fights.

Cotto has one of the worst chins in the world...he has alot of +'s though...dont get me wrong he is a good strong fighter, he shows heart and has great power and digs to the body very well, but his lack of chin will play a major role in his fights against the best...but yes my friend I would definitely spar you..Where are you at over there in Europe, I been there many times!!

I wasn't sarcasting in wishing you luck - I said it at least twice in the thread.

And this was your response to my first post:
Anyway, I'm done harping on this. I offered my opinion, and once again (sincerely) good luck to you. If you happen to run across Lamont Ingram, tell him I say hey and best of luck to him as well.

Cotto has an average chin and shitty defense. The former will eventually catch up to the latter, but for now - I mean the guy's only been down once. Rocked a few times, yes, but considering his leaky defense, his chin shouldn't be considered that bad.

Wouldn't the sparring help shed the extra 20 pounds you have much quicker along with knocking some of the rust off? I know when I was sparring I could eat and drink whatever I wanted and would still lose weight, and I was just giving guys rounds not training for anything like yourself.
