Stamina: Got tired but who doesn't at 250+. Never lost a fight on grounds of stamina-deficiency. Showed impressive stamina in late round KO of Donalds, Bean, Purritty. Stamina 7.

Defense: Never down. Rarely rocked. Nothing stylish, everything effective. Defense:7.

Chin Durability: Never down. Rarely rocked. Took bombs from Sanders and Lewis....Lewis uppercut probably one of the best he's ever landed. Vitali never budged. Sanders....caught him flush and had him wobbled...Vitali never even looked like folding. Chin 8.

Jab: Not a Wlad jab but very good nonetheless. 7.

Left Hook: Under-used punch...definitely his weaker shot. 6.

Straight Right: Money shot. 8.

Uppercut: threw very good short uppercuts to the body. Lifted Danny Williams head off his shoulders with an uppercut that was nothing more than an arm punch. Watch the tape: its a double uppercut, chest then head. Even Roy liked it. Threw the uppercut against Lewis and Sanders, missing barely on each occassion. Not his best shot, underused, effective when landed. 6.


Movement: Good mover for a huge guy, could cover ring in two or three easy paces. Got away from Sanders on several occassions whilst buzzed. Much better mover in his pre-injury days. Movement:6.

Heart: Great heart. Only quit when his head overruled his heart. Proved this in the Lewis fight.....showed major heart. Look for the intangibles: his heart in facing Sanders and fighting his own fight, in the face of horrible media indiscretions....very impressive. 8.5
