Malignaggi has the best post fight interview, in terms what he feels in the ring. IMO

kid is one of the more personable in boxing and I for one am happy he won

 

Even if he's not for everybody, the right guy won. Boxing will be better served with Malignaggi in a position of power, than it would be if N'Dou was. Lovemore is a nearly man; Paulie clearly has the talent, the appeal and the charisma to be something more important than that.

You beat me to it. Even in defeat he's a stand up guy. His post interview is a breath of fresh air, then the usual "He never hurt me", "I think I did enough to win" "I don't know what the judges where watching" etc. One of the only boxer type fighters I like. I would like floyd too, if his personality didn't mess it up.

 

What a waste. HBO should have shoen the replay of Cotto-Judah then called it a night.

Dirrell put on the worst "winning" performance since Gainer-Polo.

Paulie deserved the decision, but good Lord he's impossible to watch.

 

Like I said, I fancied a clever boxer over a pressure fighter, but Paulie beat this guy up and down the yard. FLoored him and all. Well done.

 

where do you guys think paulie is gonna stand in the ring magazine jr welter. rankings? Lovemore was #5, i think that puts him in the top 5 for shutting him out.

 

Good for Paulie. The guy has obviously put his work in.

 

Paulie fights very similar to Floyd in styles. He isn't as polished as Floyd but they are similar. IMO Paulie is the 2nd or 3rd best 140 pounder in the world right now. I like a fight with him and Hatton, would make a good fight and force the best in the division to fight.:bears:
