    Wonder what they'll have.

    De La Hoya-Vargas?
    Trinidad-Vargas?
    Gatti-Ward?

Maybe Mayweather-De La Hoya since it was such a huge event.

    Dirrell-Stevens!
    Klitschko-Austin!
    Calzaghe-Manfredo!

Lewis vs. Holyfield should make the cut. Don King made credentials costing over $2,000 each. He took them back, of course.

i think they should add an appendix to each show in which the entire fight is shown. "beyond legendary nights."

also, Hamed/Barrera - i bet they include that one.

i'd think they'd opt for Pacquia/JMM over Pacquiao/Morales - if they had to choose one.

plus, i'm not sure they're gonna be all recent, are they? for example, couldn't they go back and get a fight like, Nunn/Toney? or RJJ/Toney? or Gomez/Pintor?

toney-nunn wasnt on hbo. rjj-toney was hardly legendary.

i think they'd pick up from where they left off.

I remember on this forum people saying that the hype around Hopkins-Oscar would make for a legendary night.

Morales-Barrera will be the only ones to make the list. They won't have Pacquiao.

This is good news. I don't want to start another thread so i'll just ask it here. Most of us have a good idea of some of the ones that will be featured.

Which ones would you like to see that may not make it and why?

i kind of agree. it's like boxing for idiots. it seems to focus on everything but the fight. and it gives writers the chance to basically re-write history by boiling the fight down to a few sentences that are always way over-simplified and misrepresentative.

Gatti-Ward was an all time great fight, but honestly, there was no big build up or hype for the fight. Ward was pretty much a journeyman, and Gatti was considered on the downside of his career before the Ward fights brought him back into the mainstream.

I guess they can do something about the triology in it's entirety.

De La Hoya vs. Jeff Mayweather?

I'll go with the main event of that card instead. One of my favorite fights ever.

legendary nights isnt necessarily about the quality of fights. look at tito-oscar, that was a shit fight, but because of its significance, it was on legendary night.

hopkins-trinidad was the most significant fight in last 6/7 years imo.

They better have the Pac-Morales and Gatti-Ward fights, or even take the trilogies and condense them into one show each.

I don't care about Legendary Nights anymore.

How about showing the complete original broadcast of those fights plus whatever undercard fights were on.

    Yeah...

"Legendary Nights" is Basically a "Cliff's Notes" Version of the Fights...REED Loooooooooves All the Background Info & Stuff, but it Only COMPLIMENTS the ENTIRE Fight Itself...

HBO Uses it to REPLACE Showing the Entire Fights...

the fact that non-fight fans, even people who never watch fights, enjoy legendary nights is all you need to know to see that it's an abortion perpetrated on the sport.
