Haha. The UFC 170 pound division runs roughshod over anything Pride can muster at the weight.

Arlovksi could arguable be the second best heavyweight in the world. Nog hasn't done shit lately, and Cro-COp can't win a big fight.

And Chuck is even money with any Pride fighter at 205.

Pride's 185 is pretty shallow as well. Once you get past Busta and Hendo, there ain't much. The trouble is the UFC's 185 has thinned out a bit as well.

Not great I think Shamrock woulda had him if he stopped falling all over the place like a drunk welshman.

Dont know how ready he was for Lyoto - But he was whipped well and truly

More to the topic - I think GSP would be great - Every time I see him I think of Sak a bit.

Chuck maybe not as his style may not be suited - He was basically done vs a green overeem before the money punch - and of course Alistair's gassing out AGAIN.

I think Arlovski could give Crocop fits - But Fed and Nog are way too smart for him.

But of course Wes Sims could go to pride and destroy all the heavies out there - Owns Fedor - With his awesome style and striking abilities.

Rich has game on the ground. He went to the ground (on his back no less) against Tanner last time out and dealt with it.

Check his record, 18 wins, 9 KOs, 9 submissions, 1 loss, 1 NC. He wouldn't have all those subs if he didn't have ground game. Gotta love a guy who finishes fights.

I don't know who can deal w/ the dude in the UFC.

I dont give a damn about his record....He has never submitted anyone of note(unless you consider Eastman an accomplishment).....

however, "nothing" may have been to strong a word.....

If you disregard his record, then how did you determine he has no game on the ground? One way or another he's stopped all the opponents he beat, and the one loss he had wasn't due to submission.

Who in the UFC beats him at 185? I know they're shallow at that weight, but even in Pride I doubt anyone walks thru the guy.

uh.....from watching him fight....From what I've seen he doesnt look very comfortable on the ground.

To answer the question of who beats him at 185, probably no one, he is damn good without a doubt....

Like I said man, "nothing on the ground" was maybe a little harsh, but he hasnt done much as far as submissions with the top level guys he fought.

I could be all wrong, but I just havent seen it from him yet

Yeah, this falls within the 'too bad Pride & UFC fighters rarely fight each other'. Whichever guy comes out of the Pride 185 tourney would be a nice matchup for Franklin (shit, even the loser of the final for that matter).

Who you takin in that one dude? I'm leaning toward Hendo, but wouldn't be surprised if Busta pulled it out.

He would not lose to Overeem, Overeems stamina is shit and Chuck can knock him senseless with 1 punch.

Henderson better knock Busta out again, or he'll get submitted, his sub defense is terrible.

I know I shouldnt base much on the Quarry fight, but I guess maybe I'm starting to believe in Rich. Best 185lber in the world, period.

Rich sucks ass! As soon as he gets laid the fuck out, everyone will be back to the "Ah he sucked anyway!"
    Wait for it. :D
    I don't think he's all that.
So anyway, how much did the fighters get paid this time for Saturday's event? Did Rich get $5,000 again? Or was Dana nice this time and decided to give Rich a whopping $6,000? :D Rich might be lucky. The money he made on Saturday night should allow him to afford at least 2 weeks of training expenses.
