Name some preferably under the age of 25 or with less than 20 fights? Who are some fighters you´d guarantee to win a world title and make some successful title defenses.

    Alex Povetkin
    Odlanier Solis
    Alex Alekseev
    David Haye
    Matt Godfrey
    Gennady Golovkin
    Anthony Peterson
    Juan Manuel Lopez

Not Sure if they'll Ever B "THE MAN" N their Respective Divisions, but BOTH Peterson Brothers (Anthony & LaMont) AND Andre Berto WILL Win "World Titles"...

    It's a Matter of "WHEN",Not "If"...

Ignoring knowledge and indulging in echolocation.
Keep an eye out for Solis, he'll knock Povetkin's arse out cold in due time.

Haye is always good for an "upset" loss. Believe me.:nono:

If Povetkin can get past Donald then, yes, I'd tip him for a title...UNLESS Wlad has unified before that. In which case, Wlad beats the guy.....:stir:

I'll take it one step further...

In five years, Argenis Mendez will not only be a world champ, but P4P the best in the sport.

I ask this question to the New York writers and it always draws blank faces. Ultimately, Kid Chocolate and Elio Rojas are the only two that anyone can think of.

He hasn't looked good recently because King has had less and less shows take place in the states, and he's been fighting less and less. Another fighter getting lost in King's shuffle.

his address changed, but James McGirt Jr. is still a NYer at heart. (in response to decent NY prospects DiBella has left in his stable).

Damn it's been a bad month for NY fighters in June. Briggs, Zab, Stevens, Santana - never in a million years would I have thought that when all was said and done, Paulie Malignaggi would be the one man left waving the NY banner.

Linares but even then one fight and he is champ.

Victor Ortiz- he has a fire in him and a work ethic that will only make im better.

Juan Ma- very polished even at this early stage

Andy Lee- for such a big guy he has very fast hands and true one punch pop

    darkhorse

    Austin Trout- kids got hands

Nobody. We're getting alot of out of town 3-0 type prospects hitting new york, though. Like Coyle...Maybe Dibella is feeling some of these guys out.

Coyle got knocked out in the first round.

In regards to James McGirt Jr. He has actually turned into a halfway decent fighter. The first time I saw him (On ESPN) he looked like absolute crap. He looks to be getting better and better each time out, but he still has a LONG way to go. Not even close to being considered a legitimate prospect.
