    False.

Joe Frazier's fights were nearly all exciting and action packed. Nearly all of George Foreman's fights were exciting and action packed. Most of Ali's fights are devoid of "action" and wholly unwatchable.

Watching Ali is like watching Roy, only Ali is slower, instigates 10x as many clinches, and doesn't have one punch power. Insomnia cure, thy name is muhammad

If we're speaking of boring fighters it gets no worse than Floyd Mayweather. I can't imagine ANY fighter human, alien or otherwise that could be more boring. He's the only fighter I've ever seen where half the arena got up to leave before the fight was even over (Baldo fight), hell I think his family even left. I seriously would rather fall into acoma than to watch a Floyd track and field event. And while I'm not an Ali fan so to speak nor think he was very exciting, at least he can say his opposition was the best possible and didn't handpick em like Floyd did.

You apparently haven't watched much of Cory Spinks, have you?

Floyd is not consistently boring, the Baldomir was his first real boring fight in 3 or 4 years.

Spinks takes boring to a new level. Taylor may take that crown soon however

And whose accounts are these mythical "all"? Pep was one of the most popular and revered fighters of his era. An era where the punters knew what boxing was about and appreciated all its nuances. A trait no longer prevalent in today's fan base.

I thought you might resort to what you know best because it sure the hell isn't boxing. Throwing means, you at LEAST get in the ring, DUCKING means you don't even get that far.

ludicrous, thowing means u pretended to be in a fight, got thousands of people to pay for tickets, got the world watching, and fucking scripted a KO for a quick buck.

thats so much more disgusting than "ducking" not that Mayweather has truthfully "ducked" anyone

Ducking can get no more Blatant than what Floyd did with Antonio. Antonio stalked the SOB for years, I have no idea what Antonio could of done to get Floyd in the ring with him, I thought at one point hell why don't he just go beat Floyd's girlfriend but that would've done no good, Floyd would've just joined him.

So I suppose he didn't duck Ant? Let me guess? He didn't deserve it, Bruseles and Gatti did?

He didn't duck Margarito, dude. Get real. A Margarito fight meant nothing at the time. NOTHING. He fought Baldomir and Judah...fights that meant more to the public....then he moves up and fights Oscar.

Floyd fights the guys that matter (Hatton being the only glaring omission...but that was mainly because Htton wasn't ready by his own admission)...Margarito was nothing but another Vivian Harris: calling out Floyd JUST so that people could hear his voice and know that he exists.

Antonio called him out over and over again, Floyd didn't listen, Antonio started going to Floyd's press conferences and still Floyd avoided him. I've been in this sport for 40 years and I can honestly say there is NO CASE that is more blatant than Floyd DUCKING Antonio, NONE!

If Margarito beats Cotto, or Mosley...and Floyd is still active (at Welterweight) and fights none of the above...THEN he's "ducking like a bitch"....but not until then.:nono:

other than a stroke of hatred, who should Floyd have fought, Baldomir or Margarito?

    After that, Margarito or Oscar?

The dude is irrelevant, and there's 10X the case that Roy ducked Michaelshevski than Floyd ducking margarito. What a dumb fucking take

can't fault floyd for going for the money but margarito would be the most dangerous guy floyd has fought above lightweight.

no boxer in this day and age is taking riskier fights for less money. if there is such a guy please let me know..

I won't fault Floyd for fighting Baldomir, he had the title...but I hardly think the 'public' was calling out for this fight as sly states any more than they were calling out for a margarito fight...I would have preferred margarito to baldomir, because he is a better fighter...Its irrelevant, not a hope it will happen now..
