well it seems that Tito will be back to fight Floyd @ 160 about Jan 10 which is his Birthday. He and DON KING got together last friday and his dad is also coming back to train Tito. Also RJJ said he'll fight Tito @ Tito's weight.

Find this hard to believe. Source please?

Anyway, if it's true, I think for Floyd he couldn't have picked a better opponent (at least finacially). For Tito, he couldn't have picked a worse one. What's his motivation for fighting Floyd, picking up the welterweight title? Plus, (great) skilled boxers with great defense have always been Tito's achiles heel. I think Floyd will run to another boring decision because I can't think Tito has much left after his horrible showing against Wright and the lengthy layoff. Coming off that kind of loss he's definitely going to go in there underconfident which will lead to hesitation and lack of serious effort on Tito's part.

Well the Motivation is being the first to Beat Floyd, he would be as motivated and hungry as he was When he fought Oscar. He has all to gain and nothing to lose really.
Also there is a HUGE difference when your laying on the ropes and getting hit on the sides by Oscar then by Trinidad .

Also i would never post nothing unless the rumbles were true, my cousin Javier lives in PR and told me last night that everyone is talking about this fight. the old guard vs the new sensation.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I can't believe this. A prime Tito would have killed Floyd, but no this version of Tito. Felix has been retired way too long.

Tito, with his jab, could win. I know it sounds crazy. But he could.

The Jab is the key, but at this stage of his career I don't think Felix can pull it off.

So has Floyd. I can't believe how long his retirement has lasted, hell, give him another 3 hrs and he'll have FreeIke beat.

i guess floyd wants to make a career out of emptying out the recycle-bin.

perhaps he should target the winner of vargas-mayorga

If this is true, then stupid tito.

He'll get schooled, it'll look like the wright fight.

Prime 147 probably would have beaten floyd, but not this slow, ponderous, pathetic version.

He is so ponderous, he doesn't pull the trigger.

It's going to be a pressure fighter/mauler that beats Floyd, like hatton, not a slow of foot, patient puncher like tito.

Tito should come back at either 154 or 160 and have a tune up fight against somebody like Kassim Ouma.

Stay away from guys like Hopkins, Wright, or Mayweather.

Fights against Mosley, De La Hoya, Cotto, or Antonio Margarito would be worth watching if Tito got a couple of good tune ups in.

There is rumors of Tito vs Duddy first then he would fight Mayweather and they would title it " The Final Battle". If your born a fighter then fight, if thats what he is well then go fight Tito just come back hungry and go for it all.

Tito come back hungry? Hungry for what? Easy victories? Because that's exactly what he was hungry for in his first comeback. He doesn't seem like he can face adversity anymore. He's in for a humiliation if he faces Floyd. I'd hate to see that, he shouldn't have never unretired the first time. At 35, it's sounds more ridiculous and considering it's the second time, it makes it even more ridiculous.

i'd watch for vargas to beat mayorga (a big if) and try to make a rematch.

that's the most viable/winnable lucrative fight tito at this point.

I completely agree with this. The first time I was excited because one of my favorite fighters was coming back and he wasn't far past his best, but now? It's ridiculous, almost on an Evander Holyfield scale. There's noway I'm paying for this and I actually have little interest in seeing it. Don't know why anyone not from puerto rico would either. Who takes interest in Floyd finding the most lucrative least appealing fight out there when there are much bigger questions to ask? People want Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, or Hatton not some dug up fossil who comes in and breaks in line.

I love Tito, but fuck him for doing this.

Every great fighter has 1 great performance left in him. You know what, fuck it, I hope Tito takes Floyds head off. I will be rooting for Tito if this fight takes place win or lose.
