Whether you love or hate Kellerman, it is utterly disrespectful to both Hatton and Castillo to intimate during the post-fight interview that Castillo being shot played a major role..

Hatton beat Castillo fair and square. He beat him easier than anyone before. Hatton is the best 140 pound fighter in the world.

I am far from being a Hatton fan, and if I can live with it, then so can the rest of you..

 

What enrages me is how obvious Kellermans bias is. A cursory examination of his articles over the years shows a complete bias in favour of Black, American fighters.

and honestly, Kellerman was doing Hatton a service by asking him the question - gfiving him the opportunity to perhaps rationalize the situation in his favor, which is exactly what he did, framing it as some sort of return to form, when we all know it was nothing of the sort, just more of the same, only this time he managed to spare us 8 more rounds of crap by stopping his opponent with an in between clinch shot - his specialty.

Hatton is a genius with that strategy.

Whenever I think about the degree of stink a fighter brings, I ask myself, how would this guy perform if there were no referee. Would he still be able to do what he does, assuming everyone follows the rules? In Hatton's case, no. He can't do shit without the ref. The ref is an integral part of his strategy. Hatton is a stinker of a fighter - if he faces PBF I'll be pissed, because PBF has bigger fish to fry. But I'll be rootin for Floyd. At least he knows how to fight.
