What fights that never happened that should have? Which non-fights do you, as a fan, wish actually took place?

Here are some examples...what others are there?

    Salvador Sanchez - Esubio Pedroza
    Lupe Pintor - Jeff Chandler
Larry Holmes - Pinklon Thomas (before the years of drug abuse totally ruined Thomas)
    Azumah Nelson - Barry McGuigan

Roy Jones-Darius Michalczewski: I blame both of them.

In the late 80s or early 90s, Foreman against Tyson.

I've heard stories about how Cus told Mike that a come-forward slugger is tailor made for Foreman, and how Tyson knew that Foreman was a better fighter and meaner guy than people thought, supposedly Tyson wanted no part of him. Who knows if it's true, really? But then whenever I see fights of old Foreman I see how slow and hittable he is and think Tyson would've brutalized him.

Still, it would've been a mega, mega event with a crazy atmosphere and I wouldn't totally dismiss George's chances.

I was never one that was interested in a Foreman Tyson in the late 80s. Always seemed like a ridiculous mismatch to me...with Foreman likely getting badly hurt.

That old slow Fat Foreman would have been no match for Tyson.

Hagler's lucky he retired before having to face Michael Nunn.

Nunn would've embarrased him in the late 80s IMO...

Mosley-Trinidad 2000 or 2001. Probably at 154, I would have liked to have seen Tito brutalize Mosley so he wouldn't be so overrated these days. I mean Vernon Forrest did it already and people still do it.

I really wanted to see McCullough-Tapia, for some reason I thought that'd be great. Mosley-Trinidad in 2001 really should have happened as well. I know one or two around here remember how many arguments that woulda settled!

Yeah, and arguably 5 because he was given a gift in the second Oscar fight.

Zab Judah is another guy with 5 losses.

    Overrated.

Benn & Eubank wanted NO parts of RJ & Toney. In fact, didnt Eubank openly admit he wanted no parts of Roy?

If Forrest had thrown those punches through treakle or some sort of thick irish stew would they have landed on Shane? Neither would Tito's.
