    Mayweather gets £5m Hatton offer

Promoter Dennis Hobson has offered Floyd Mayweather £5m to fight Ricky Hatton in Britain later this year.

"I've spoken to some of his people and they've been very receptive. It's a very substantial offer," said Hobson.

$10m to Fight Hatton in UK - If Mayweather takes this I would be surprised.

I don't think Mayweather will take it.

He'll want to fight in Vegas.

I think Mayweather could have 10m in Vegas but Hatton would have to settle for 350$.

Mayweather won't take it for 10. I doubt he'd do it for 15.

Floyd isn't going to fight Hatton in the UK, nor should he.
10 mil sounds hard to turn down to me.

why in the hell would PBF fight him in the UK? that'd be stupid as hell. everyone knows Hatton gets preferential treatment there. fk that. let Hatton take his beating state-side. he's earned it. i hope he gets laid out and is out for 2 minutes while his daddy pisses his pants and his mother blubbers like a whore over her lost dose.

Anyone know how much the Vegas casinos generally pay for the site fee, and how much Wembley generally pays?

Where is 10 million coming from? Doesn't the thread title state 5M Euros? Last I checked the euro is not worth twice the US dollar. It would be 6.5M US dollars.

I agree, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think anyone else can offer Floyd more than 10 Million dollars, unless it's a Delahoya rematch or maybe even Tito.

I think Cotto is the only other fighter right now who could get in that range. Not sure if he could, but it seems possible/plausible.

This is true. If Floyd doen't take the offer it's clear that he will only fight again if it's Oscar.

Does Floyd think he's Oscar now or what? He just isnt going to get more than this anywhere else. I don't think he should have to go to England to fight though, but if they don't I'm not sure there will be the same money.

Don't you think he should WANT to go to England? Hatton went to USA to fight at some of the venues he idolised as a kid. Floyd has the opportunity to fight in front of 80,000 people! How many other fighters have done that recently? That'd be one hell of a memory to look back on.

I think he's more comfortable fighting in Vegas.

    Plus, there's his ego.

"Why should I (Ray Robinson incarnated + Jesus Christ) have to go to this guy's hometown to defend MY title?"
