HIS title? Hatton sure as hell won't be fighing Floyd at 154, and that's the only title he owns.

I don't see a problem as long as he brings a american referee and judge. :dunno:

Floyd is the legit champ @ 147, which is where they would probably fight.

Thats another problem, I think Hattons best chance is at 140 not 147. Maybe they can do a catch-weight? There's alot of hurdles before this fight can be made.

He moved up, does he still have a title at 147? He WAS the champ at 147.

Hopefully, but I don't know if Floyd would agree, especially after the Oscar fight, he'll try to do to others during negotiations what Oscar did to him.

I think that Hatton would be better physically this time @ 147 though than the Collazo fight since he'd have more time to properly prepare. Last time was on short notice.

Hatton and Mayweather can bring their Ring belts to the ring.

They're a self-serving magazine with their policy but I do agree with them that Hatton is the champ @ 140 and Floyd is the champ @ 147, despite moving up in weight for one fight.

Dude, he got $7 millions to fight freaking Baldomir and that was before he beat DLH in the biggest fight in history, you're telling me Floyd can't get $10 millions fighting a big name in the States?

LOL. When are you people going to learn that a stadium full of drunkheads doesn't equate to $$? There would be a lot more money to be made in Las Vegas.

It doesn't matter. When Pacquaio fought Marquez, Marquez didn't stand to win any titles..just RECOGNITION as the best.

That's all that matters at the end of the day.

Hatton to fight Floyd for the Title as best Welterweight (Jnr, Super or natural) on the planet!!

How is that self serving?? You act like there doing it for the money when in reality there not getting paid a dime and the fighters never gave them a penny to be there champions unlike the Alphabet soup gang.

A stadium fuull of people doesn't equal money? Do they just let them in for free? The live gate accounts for a lot of the money. Are you fucking kidding me?

Also, nobody is ever going to pay to see Floyd fight anyone that is not an elite fighter. He'll never make as much as he did to fight Baldomir against another Baldomir level oppenent again because it is not going to sell.

Oh, The Ring has done it for money in the past.

The fact that fighters are willing to pay for sanctioning body recognition only strengthens the inference that those titles are legitimate.

The Question is,How Much is Hatton Getting???...

Offering Floyd $10 mil is Only Telling PART of the Story...Live Gate???...PPV???...Weight???...Gloves???...Refs??...Judges???...

This is NATHAN More than Hatton's Way of "Responding" to Floyd's Comments from a Couple Days ago...

Then how come Hatton hasn't earned even a $4 million payday? The live gate account is only a very small part of a fighters payday, even smaller when the tickets are very cheap as it's the case with Hatton.

You're kidding yourself if you think that about Floyd. It won't happen because Floyd will only take big fights if he fights but I bet he could fight a Margarito and get over $10 millions. Nobody is going to pay to see him fight? Dude, YOU and the rest of the forum are going to pay to see him, better believe that.

That's why REED LAUGHS whenever Hatton Lovers Talk about him Selling Out Soccer Stadiums & Whatnot...

The Bottom Line is PRICE OF THE TICKET,Not the # of Asses N the Seats...

A VEGAS Crowd of 10-15,000 is Gonna Generate CONSIDERABLY MORE Money than the 35,000 Calzaghe had for Manfredo (for Instance)...

Also,REED Bets ALOT of those 11,000 Brits that Came here to See the Castillo Fight were Given EURO Rates &/or COMP Tickets...11,000 Brits DID NOT Pay Vegas Market Value for 11,000 Tickets...

    No Way N Hell:nono: ...

So this Whole Notion that Floyd "SHOULD" or "NEEDS" to Fight Overseas,or Accept PARITY Because of Hatton's Drawing Power,is FAULTY...

    Reed,

Wasn't it just the other day when you were downplaying Hatton bringing in fans and saying things like "who cares about the live gate?"

Now all of a sudden you're mentioning it?

As a reminder, it was I who mentioned that the live gate matters.

Are you ready to admit you learned something or has senility settled in bruhman?

REED has Been Pretty CONSISTENT N his Comments:dunno: ...

When REED Downplayed the 11,000 Brits,REED Said Hatton DIDN'T have a HISTORY Of Bringing that Many Fans to America w/Him...

Even then,REED QUESTIONED if 11,000 VEGAS Market Value Tickets were Purchased...

If REED Isn't Mistaken YOU Tried to Say Hatton Deserved PARITY on the Strength of Being the "Bigger Draw",but N Terms of the MONEY his Live Gates Generate, that's NOT True...

The "Live Gate" DOESN'T Matter to REED,Personally...But Obviously,it's a Point to Negotiate N a BIG Fight....

You can go back and check the thread, but I don't believe I said Hatton deserved parity due to his being a ticket seller and Floyd not being one.

Both bring something to the table and each has to recognize what that is.

Floyd obviously deserves the bigger purse no matter where the fight is. He's the champion in two divisions and no one cares about Hatton's IBO belt.

If Hatton's reps think they can dictate to Floyd the way the dictated to Tszyu, the fight will never get close to being made.

Floyd being the REEDtarded businessman he is has learned a few tricks from his "shut up and do what I say" lesson Oscar taught him at the negotiating table, will pull the same tricks with Hatton that Oscar did on him.

It's not surprising though. Once guys get pimped out one real good time, they try to flip the script and do everyone else the same way. We've seen how that has turned out for Hopkins.

How many Hatton fights have been on PPV? I'll tell you right now I ain't buying a Floyd PPV unless it's against an elite fighter. I said nobody is going to pay for a Baldomir level opponent.
