    Well, discussing it at least.

    Dan Rafael:

If Wladimir Klitschko defeats Lamon Brewster in their rematch Saturday (HBO, 5 p.m. ET) in Germany, he'll probably be saddled with a mandatory defense few would want to see. The IBF's two leading contenders are Calvin Brock and Chris Byrd, whose handlers are quietly discussing an elimination fight. Klitschko, however, has already knocked both of them out in the past 15 months and rematches serve no purpose in clarifying the heavyweight division, not to mention that they aren't economically viable. But that probably won't stop the IBF from ordering Klitschko to face the winner.

That´s the IBF, where you can only lose a ranking spot by death. Just ask Manuel Medina and Cassius Baloyi.

Yeah. But it's necessary at this point, since Klitschko didn't beat either one of them convincingly.

If you want unify the belts, just forget the IBF, they have stripped every unified champion faster than Bob Foster can formulate a sentence. Every unified champ holds a combination of the WBA/WBC/WBO belts (Taylor, Kessler, Mormeck, Diaz).

I would hate to see Quitko trying to avoid his mandatory challenger using various bogus excuses. After all, if Quitko is allowed to fight Brewster the 2-nd time around (after Lamon knocked him out), then why, say, Brock, shouldn't be allowed to fight Quitko the 2-nd time around (after Quitko knocked him out)?

Um let's see. Wlad beat top contenders and stopped the belt holder and is now in a position to make a voluntary defense of HIS title.

Who did Brock beat after he got KO'd to be in any position to ask for a rematch with Wlad?

Umm....let see....Who did Brewster beat after he got schooled by Lyakhovich to be in any position to deserve rematch with Wlad?

He beat Wlad, Wlad want to redeem himself with a voluntary defense. If he didn't you'd give him shit for that and now that he does you give him shit for that too. Damned if he does damned if he doesn't. You're a true hater.

    This is true.
Not to mention that Wlad was schooling Brewster and almost KHTFO before he collapsed.

Wlad beat Brock. Brock wants to redeem himself as well. Why is Wlad avoiding Brock?

I'm sorry, I don't play "if he didn't, you woulda....." games.
I live in reality, not in "coulda, woulda, shoulda" world. You must be confusing me with Kauki..... he always loves to say things like "If Margarito fought so-and-so, he surely woulda knock him out".

If by "schooling" you mean Wlad got KTFOd in less than 6 rounds, then he surely was schooling Brewster. But that is weird definition of "schooling".
In my book, "schooling" means brutally knocking out someone, just like what Lamon did to Wlad.

You tell me, I didn't even know Brock wanted an immediate rematch. And, the two situations aren't really comparable, Brock was a challenger and was an underdog. Wlad was the champ and was a huge favourite, the ending wasn't as conclusive as the ending of the Brock fight too. I think the Brock fight left no doubt.

You live in reality? I wonder where in this reality people are asking for a Brock rematch? Who exactly?

    You're a dipshit, I don't even know why I'm arguing with your trolling ass.

Brutally knocking out someone is more like Wlad did to Brock.

No , schooling means you are winning mostly every minute of every round - which Wlad was doing . You also must admit something that is clear to anyone who seen the fight , Brewster was doing nothing until Wlad mysteriously got so tired he could barely stand . Then and only then did Brewster manage to hit him and KO him.

KO'ing someone after you just got done looking like an amature in NOT schooling someone. That is simply called KO'ing someone - not schooling.

Well, obviously Brock wants rematch, why would he participate in an eliminator bout if he didn't want the rematch??

Wow, resorting to personal insults after running out of valid arguments?

Brock has kept himself busy by getting off the canvas to beat some bum as the walkout bout to Ibragimov-Briggs.

Do you suppose, even if for a moment that Brewster's fists could be that mysterious Wlad-tiring force you're referring to?

It's also more like what Brewster did to Wlad.

I didn't even know that. I guess that's the fight that made Dymipepel think that Brock was ready for a rematch against Klitchko.

No because Wlad was already so tired he couldn't move BEFORE Brewster even landed anything ...

Before that Brewster was just a punching bag in there ...

If Brewster had been working the body and landing before Wlad got tired , I might agree with you. However he wasn't ...

Do you see any difference in Calvin with Pernell as his trainer?

Ok so Brock should be given a rematch before Brewster in your opinion? And that based on the fact that Wlad is getting a rematch against Brewster... Is that it?

If Brock was winning every minute of every round before Wlad KO'd him , I would be able to understand the comparison you are trying to make.

However that is not what happend.

Well, Brewster clearly is NOT ready for rematch with Wlad.....he's been inactive for 1.5 years, coming off of a loss, and a major eye surgery. Yet here you are, defending Wlad's decision to fight the crippled Lamon, and opposing even the mention of the possibility that Brock deserves the rematch.

What are you saying? Are you saying Wlad lost to Brewster not because Lamon was there in the ring with him?

Well, I can agree with the fact that Brewster might not be ready for a rematch, in fact I've never said otherwise. But it's Wlad prerogative to fight him right now, he's allowed a voluntary defense, and It was Brewster's decision to accept or not the get the rematch and a huge payday. He could have said "I need a few fights..." like Tyson said when he was a offered a fight against Lewis. And Brock doesn't deserve a rematch, Brewster doesn't need to deserve a rematch, he's the one that beat Wlad, not the other way around. In fact, that's Wlad who deserves a rematch.

No. Degression. The only difference is that Brock gets yelled at more.

I've never seen sweet pea look so angry. He's actually a good trainer.
