DLH blocked a ton of punches...maybe the punchstat people were counting all those blocked puches as landed punches.

No clip shows actual anything CYC. It shows what somoene wants to show, hence the omission of certain information.

Honestly CYC don't paint yourself into a corner again. You can make the point that The clip demonstrates that De La Hoya was more active than he was given credit for without being absurd.

DLH won that fight either way you want to look at it. If you watch the whole DLH won and if you watch that clip above he won. Nobody can make a clip that makes it look like Mayweather won because he didn't do shit the whole fight other than run.

After watching the clip it amazes me how easy this fight could have been for Delahoya if he just kept the jab in PBF face.

See, this is why I hate "the contender." I think people will rationalize like this over every fight they see, then try to score it that way.

Editing something down to the "important points" can make a case for any argument.

At this point, we might as well call it the Michael Moore School of Journalism.

It's not false, but it is definitelt not the whole truth either. Someone could just as easily use the parts that were edited out, and creat a video saying "Here's ALL the defense from DelaHoya/Mayweather." Editing requires PERSONAL OPINION.

If you think Oscar De La Hoya beat Floyd Mayweather your opinion is worth shit.

Isn't Floyd Mayweather supposed to be the best p4p in the world today [IMG]

This is the worst representation I have ever seen assigned from this accolade, who still believes this shit, and wtf are you basing this off of? [IMG]

It's 9 minutes and 40 seconds of a 36-minute fight and they just cut out "a few seconds"....

I'm certainly not a big PBF fan, nor am I a big DLH fan...and I scored it for Mayweather.

Even in an attempt to highlight all of DLH's moments (which were almost ALL against the ropes, hence you see no center-ring action in that clip), they forgot to take out round 8, where PBF strafed DLH.

I can score it again, but I can't see 7 rounds for DLH at all.

    Peace.

Watching these clips made me think of a couple of things

-De La Hoya's defense in this fight is very underrated. He was getting tagged in the early rounds but caught a lot of shots on his gloves

-Its amazing how effective De La Hoya was when he threw the jab. Floyd couldn't get into a rhythm or set up his defense. Had De La Hoya had stuck to the jab its very likely he could have won the fight

-Floyd did not run. When Hoya was not jabbing he was making De La Hoya miss everything. Floyd's defense is amazing. Mayweather was slipping Hoya's shots on the ropes and moving, but he was still in range and throwing back.

-I didn't see Floyd hold that much at all

That being said those were just clips. I'd actually like to see the fight again. Also although Floyd's defense amazing, its interesting that Hoya's jab affected him so much. When you look at his big wins like Judah, Chavez, Castillo, Corrales none of those guys are jabbers. Judah just throws lead lefts and hooks, and the rest are just aggressive punchers/bodypunchers like Corrales and Castillo.

That being said, I had Floyd winning the fight pretty clearly and still think so.

For what ? So he can get robbed again wasting his time against "Pretty Boy I sure know how to Shuck and Jive ? :nono:

Anyone watching that fight that saw that as a performance worthy of TAKING THE CHAMPS TITLE ... is a prime example and product of the balless pussified society that America has sadly become.

What do you mean for what? You don't think that it's more "pussified" to not fight a rematch?
