This fight HAS to happen! Two young power punchers, neither one is great, but it'd be a guaranteed KO fight. Who wins?

Unless Kermit gets scared like he did against Margarito I'd pick him. Julio doesn't impress me and he looked a bit soft against Bundrage. He also didn't look like he'd improved any since the Quintana fight. If anything he regressed.

    Yeah...

Double L's VERY High on Julio, but REED just CAN'T See Why...K9 is a VERY Limited Fighter who Took the Fight on 3 Weeks Notice AND Looked Relatively SOFT N the Body (for Him),yet he had his "Moments" & Damn Near went the Distance w/Julio...

Julio Did what he Had to Do,but REED saw NATHAN that Suggests Julio is a THREAT to the Elite Welters:nono: ...

Just the way Julio was running directly into K9's weak ass jab all night makes me nervous for him against any decent caliber fighter in that division.

This fight would be very exciting. I pick Cintron to Ko Julio in a fun action packed fight.

Now that I think of it this is the first time I ever picked Cintron:lol:

so they each lost one fight. either one of them could still be great.

I disagree. They can be good but not great.

because of one loss? or do you just mean, in your opinion, if you had to bet, you'd say they "won't?"

Prior to Julio losing to Quintana he honestly looked to me like the 2nd coming of Tito. Well he sure aint that but still I think you guys are underrating him. He's not the most skilled guy around for sure, but he can punch and that will make him a threat in the division for years to come. I wouldnt be surprised to see him pick up a belt eventually. Hell he's only 22.

Cintron probably would KO him right now though if he kept him on the end of his jab, but if he just slugged and let Julio inside, then we could see Julio KO Kermit. Either way its a fight I'd like to see, just from an action stand-point.

Watched Julio vs K9 last night and honestly, I'm not impressed at all. He didn't do anything especially good, and he just looked real average to me.

Julio to me is an exciting version of Rocky Juarez. Not interms of style, he has good skills to be champ, but will never make it there.

Julio has skills. And he is impressive. He has a good sense of distance, and his punches are short and he doesn't load up at all. And he seems to know how to set up big shots.

why? because he lost once to Quintana? who by the way was out-boxing Cotto before getting KO'd?

dude quintana got his ass kicked by cotto. he outboxed cotto in spurts, but i'm not even sure if he won a round.

julio also got a near gift against cosme 'hit me' rivera. he has power, but that's about it.

i'd like to see him fight berto should he beat rivera (in a much more impressive fashion i expect)

    In for a quick nibble.
What spooked Cintron most of all was the way Margarito was able to penetrate his defence by chopping him under and over the top of his guard, that unorthadox offense was foreign to any conventional practices that he'd been taught in the gym and it made him feel completely vunerable, so the poor kid withdrew from the fight, it's difficult to come back from a loss like that, and it's since lead him to make some silly remarks like "I told you all the Margarito loss was a fluke" after beating Mark Suarez, proving how difficult it is, to swallow your pride.
