Classic: Nonito Donaire fighting a middleweight @ Contender try outs

This video is a couple of years old. Nonito Donaire was trying out for the Contender reality show, but they usually take guys from welterweight to middleweight and didn't have anyone in his weight class. So Donaire had to fight against a guy who weighed 160 pounds (he usually fights at 115).

not so impressive when taking into consideration that the guy must've been a bum

Actually, if this guy was even a pro middleweight with a winning record, then it is impressive. Nonito is a FLYWEIGHT for fuck's sake!

And he just beat the crap out of him, 100% domination and knocked him down with 1 punch with headgear.

Nonito is awesome.

The contender are retards for not recruiting Nonito, he is about 100x better than any other contender "star".

 

He should consider himself lucky for not getting picked for contender. It's like getting picked to wear the scarlet letter of "suck".

But I'm glad they didn't because like noble said, the best fighters the Contender has put out are Sergio Mora, Manfredo, Bumrage and Grady Brewer.

That's like a bum's list of bum fucks.

 

Yeah, and it's not like he would have won the show anyway. The guys are too big and at least one of them would have whupped him.

 

I'd make him the favorite over Bumrage or Brewer.

 

But not Mora or Manfredo.

 

This video alone should be enough to make the armchair warrior schmucks on this site realize they wouldn't stand a fucking chance against a world class, pro flyweight.

You get a lot of pussies on here claiming they can "bench 300 pounds" and bragging about their lifting ability.

Nonito is a world class flyweight and would punch a hole through most of the keyboard warriors on this website.

But you're right, that middleweight didn't look like some sloppy toughman scrub. He had a fighter's stance and looked like a consumate pro. Nonito just destroyed him.
