Well, just how badly does Arturos latest beating tarnish still further Frauds Fradulent time at 140???

Here is a guy who Floyd Mayweather, supposedly the greatest pfp fighter of the moment, beat. He then moves UP, UP I TELL TOU, to 147 and goes 9 LOSING rounds with BUMDOMIR, who beat Judah BEFORE Floyd did. Then Arturo goes and HE ONLY FUCKING LOSES AGAIN to some guy called Gomez, who has a record of 16-3-2.

I see a lot of Antonio Margarito hatred around here.

Lets all just STFU for two minutes and appreciate that FRAUD wasn't fighting PAUL WILLIAMS when he should have been fighting Margarito. He was off fighting GATTI.

    YA FUCKING HEAR ME??? GATTI.

    THIS FUCKING MESS {God Bless Him}

It doesn't change the value of Floyd's win over Gatti. It was never impressive to begin with. GAtti/Floyd was a huge mismatch for a shitty tittle. Floyd was desperately looking to headline a ppv date and GAtti was the perfect oponent at 140 who happened to hold a tittle at the time.

Gatti was already shot before that fight. I don't understand why people wanna pretend Floyd beating him was a big deal. Floyd was already the best in the world and Gatti was never anything special and was past his prime when he fought him. What did people expect to be the outcome?:dunno:

I thought it was ridiculous the way Floyd droped on his knees and cried after beating GAtti as if he kod Ray leonard or something. :dunno:

I've always been a fan of Floyd but that win gets overrated by some just cause he dominated him.

By the way I'm glad Gatti retired.

    100% agree with you.

The start and end point of so much of what people think about Gatti is that SKILLWISE he was distinctly average to begin with.

    I'm glad he's retired too.

Mayweather had to beat Gatti in order to become a star and a pay per view attraction.

It wasn't about the flimsy (vacant) title Gatti won by besting Gianluca Branco.

All of this talk about Floyd Mayweather here in a Gatti thread.:dunno:
Like it or not, Floyd isn't losing to Paul, Shane, Hatton, Margarito, Cintron, Cotto, Oscar, Winky, whomever.
It's not going to happen, folks.
Accept the fact like many had to do with a young Ali, and you will enjoy the sport of boxing more.

Oh f*ck sakes, Stinger. Come on, that pussy isn't gonna fight any Winky Wright or anybody else for that matter. Floyd made the challenge, Winky accepted, Floyd left town. That's how it went down. I ain't accepting Floyd as any kind of young Ali. He has none of that, no charisma, nothing. His comp level is garbage. Guy looked like sh*t against a 35 year old inactive DLH. White wash my ass, that fight made Floyd look so damn beatable. And it's obvious now why he's been ducking Margarito and the like. Cause he ain't all that.
Let's see him against some real young fighters. Oh wait, he'll never sign to fight any of them anyway so why bother? He'll just talk smack and do the Roy approach and offer a 90-10 contract to everybody.

Against an old' inactive Oscar mind you, while Floyd is in his 'prime'. Even then, Floyd didn't look like any kind of the hot sh*t Stinger was saying he was.

    Well he is.

    On his "to avoid" list.

Exactly... When it's all said and done, Floyd might be more remembered for the guys he DIDN'T fight than for those he did fight..

Floyd groupies are laughing at Margarito: well he fought another one of the guys that Floyd wouldn't.

Floyd is a small black version of Jack Dempsey.

The others are all left to kick the shit out of each other while Floyd makes a fortune on the glamour circuit, talking a lot of shit and fighting hasbeens, bums, and semi-retired guys.

    Fuck Floyd Mayweather.

Gatti vs Gomez most definitely puts Floyd and Baldomir's wins over Gatti in proper perspective. Gatti fucking sucks, and so does Baldomir.

It's all the fault of the Floyd groupies. Just look at the forum man, they are all celebrating like Floyd cleaned out the welterweight division this weekend.

    I'd rather watch Pacquiao.

if you're comparing Floyd to a young Ali, then you might as well compare Pacquiao to a young Duran.

There's a major character divide between Floyd and Ali though. That within itself weakens that statement/comparison.

Seems like Floyd ain't really doing anything that hasn't been done already, Reed. Zab just got KTFO by Cotto so that again diminishes Floyd's win over Zab. Baldomir? F*cking crap and probably the most boring fight of the past year. Floyd/DLH? Inactive 35 year old Oscar who still made Floyd run in a boring fight. Floyd KO'd Sharmba, not a big deal since it's been done already. Gatti? Gatti loses to everyone.
I think Floyd is just popular now because we lost Roy Jones Jr who was our #1 P4P fighter. Roy gets knocked off and suddenly all attention turns towards Floyd.
Think Floyd needs to step it up against some real fighters who haven't had their asses bounced off the canvas time and time again.

    Cheers.

The kid thinks I'm dissing Gatti. He thinks this thread is about putting Arturo down.

    I'm not, and it's not.

I'm merely stating the obvious, namely that Gatti was an average face-first pug, and any attempts to build a rep off him is tantamount to building a concrete fortress on a foundation of mud.
