This is it. The Ultimate in Frank Warren Hype Jobs. The Latest, Greatest, New and Improved, Never Seen Before HYPE MONSTER.

This fucking guy SUPPOSEDLY has a STELLAR Amateur Career.

He SUPPOSEDLY has the beating of CUBAS best LIGHTWEIGHT STAR.

He SUPPOSEDLY is the NEXT GREAT THING.

But, here he is, being floored for the 2nd FIGHT in Succession.

By a man called "William Limond". A Scotsman, who was beaten by Alex Arthur, who was beaten by Michael Gomez, who is not in fact a MEXICAN, but an Irish ITINERANT {Gypsy, thief, whatever} born on the backseat of a car in County Longford {think Bute, Montana} who has been beaten by lots of guys. Oh and all of these fights took place at 130lbs:doh:

And so, without further to-do, I give you AMIR KHAN, Aka AMIR KHAN'T, failing to KO a small Super-Featherweight. Oh, and being beaten to the mat by him too.

This was like Marquez/Vasquez all over again. On his way to being the FOTY, when Limmond´s corner pulled the plug, because of a busted nose. I thought Khan really wasted a lot of energy in his comeback and Limmond recovered from the onslaught. He controlled the last minute of the last round, when his corner stopped it. Good test for Khan, Limmond is actually not a bad fighter. Khan has ERH disease. Eat Right Hands.

ERH disease....gotta remember it. When you have a Jew {Jim Rosenthal} standing at Ringside saying nice things about a Muslim kid after a performance like that, you know people are being paid to not smell the bullshit:lol:

Limond is a half decent fighter, but Khan is a division taller and should be putting his ilk away with half the bother. Even when Khan finally put Limond down, he more beat and battered him to the mat than took his senses away-whereas Limond had Khan dancing all over the shop.

Khan really does look over-elaborate in a lot of ways, in the Jermaine Taylor sense of the word. I can't see him winning SHIT at world level, at least not against REAL champions.

I agree Khan is going nowhere. I have seen in some of his past fights against bvums where he is getting hit a bit to much. Throw in a lack of chin and you have a disaster waiting to happen.

It does appear he has no jaw......or a less than concrete one, also, I don't think he has any MAJOR hitting power. Bad combo. Hamed, the man to whom he is so often compared {don't ask me :dunno: } was at least a twin-fisted puncher. Hamed did have Silver Bullets. All Khan has is a Silver Medal.

Khan looked ok in the olympics, he has not impressed me one bit since turning pro.

He is getting out as soon as he steps up.

Most guys get out when they make a few quid:laughing: . He's getting out before he even makes it that far. I hope he has squirrelled away what little he has earned. However, with his Hamed-esque driving habits, and general "bad ass" persona, I can see him ending up with squat.

Apparently, he has a dose of the Zab Judahs: Bad chin and a stammer. He keeps repeating "Know what Ahm Sayin"

HE also tried to tell the ref he was "pushed" and McGuigan defended Khans goofly logic by suggesting that Khan was "badly hurt at the time and confused"....

Can you imagine Diaz vs Khan.

PS did you see Skelton and Sprott:eek:ld:  :eek:ld:  :flip:

    You purposely did right.

    What happened?

    This:

A majority points decision saw Matt Skelton retain his Commonwealth heavyweight title after a dismal fight that bore more resemblance to wrestling than a boxing match.

Promoter Frank Warren promised the winner of the contest a world title shot by the end of the year but, on tonight's evidence, none of the four champions will be unduly worried by Skelton.

Boos rang out after the ninth round - justifiably so given the grappling showed no sign of ending - and the British rivals were told by the referee to change tactics.

A slow hand clap started in protest and a cheer greeted the arrival of the 12th and final round, before Skelton was announced winner.

    And, in more pertinent news:

    Limond sore about Khan recovery

Willie Limond claims he was robbed of his Commonwealth lightweight title against Amir Khan on Saturday because he believes referee Marcus McDonnell gave him too long to recover from his sixth-round knockdown.

Khan, 20, only just managed to survive after the Glaswegian put him on the canvas but recovered in impressive style to regain control of the fight in the following two rounds.

Limond failed to emerge for the ninth round after being pulled out by his corner with a perforated ear drum and a swollen jaw.

However, Limond told The Herald that Khan should have been counted out.

"I'm sore, not because of the damage I did but because I have just watched a tape of the fight." the 28-year-old said.

"We sat in front of the telly. Billy Nelson (trainer) timed it.

"Thirteen seconds - the time it took the referee to count Khan to his feet. Not nine. Not even 10.

    "I couldn't believe it. I still can't.

"He should have been counted out. No question.

"He was out on his feet, although he'll more than likely deny it.

"His eyes were all over the place. He had been counted out. Only not by the referee's timekeeping. There's no debate.

"I've gone from being angry with myself for not finishing the job to angry to what I have just watched on the telly.

"There's no point in appealing. The fight's over. I lost. Only now I know I didn't. I'm gutted."

Nevermind, at least you had the pleasure of tuning into SKY's 2-hour US boxing special the next morning.
    Forget UK boxing.

World beater...I dont think so, that french guy he fought awhile back had him on the run too.

We need more exciting fighter's like Gatti, his problem was not knowing when to quit (as in retire).

Thats why we have Larry Hazzard.

You know what gets me, when Wlad asked for his gloves to be weighed in the run up to Peter, Hazzard said "this is bullshit".

But when the ref won't help Gatti, Hazzard runs into the ring.

Amazing what cameras will do for a guys sense of propriety.

Dhrilzane was the name of the last French lightweight that had him on the mat.
