Tyson did accomplish a lot, my main gripe was his lack of quality opposition.

 Pictures of the Klitschko's are always fucken hilarious. Especially when they know the camera is on them and thier eyes widen and they pop thier thumbs up with the cheesiest fucken grins I've ever seen, they look ideal to host childrens television, not participate in the most brutal sport on earth.

Yeah, just as long as Tyson gets away with slamming hooks to the back of Wlad's head. How many jabs and right hands did Peter have to endure before he managed to land his first rabbit-punch on Wlad? Tyson is actually shorter than Peter even, with shorter arms and about 25lbs lighter. He'd have even more trouble trying to get inside on Wlad. Since Wlad clinches alot more now, that's where Tyson will have the most trouble. The height and weight differential is tremendous. When Tyson was fighting big guys, they were usually in the 220-225 range(Tucker, Green, Smith). Wlad is 250 or just under. Pretty difficult to shake off that clinch.

I haven't seen Wlad vs guys the pedigree of a Holmes or Ali. Guys who move around the ring and shoot blazing jabs and combos while on their toes. Today's heavyweights generally are pasted to the canvas, looking for homeruns.

The fight was only 12 rounds, and Tucker's best punch came in round 1 with a left uppercut that momentarily rocked back Tyson.

And Tyson didn't win because Tucker was scared. Tony Tucker was not James Smith, holding for dear llife. For once, Tyson actually adjusted after having trouble in the first 4 rounds (especially with the uppercut, which would later plague him) and the main punch he used was actually his heavy left jab,

You have to admit, Tucker did f*ck-all in that fight. No spirited effort, no heart, nothing. Buster Douglas fought with fire, there was no fire in Tucker. What was that sh*t after the fight? He was hollering "Praise the Lord Mike...Praise the Lord!"

Actually, it was lack of shoulder.

so WHAT - maybe the Sanders loss wouldn't have happened but i really doubt it, since Wlads regrouping abilities and lack of knowledge what to do in a uncomfortable situation cost him the fight moreso than his chin.

The brewster and Puritty fights wouldn't be any different since it had nothing to do with his chin...

i wonder when will people ever acknowledge that these losses had nothing to do with a bad chin. I for one even doubt his chin is all so bad, he was DEAD tired in the brewster fight and got hit flush to the jaw and didn't go down... then some seconds ago he collapsed all by himself.

    IT'S NOT HIS CHIN! :flip:

it is stamina, recovery, psychological lack of toughness and cleverness in dangerous situations...
