I just wanted to give everyone the heads up, Cintron is back Sept 8th on the Mayorga/Vargas undercard. His opponent will be Jessie Feliciano. Stewart added that he wanted to keep Cintron active and have him fight again November. They will look for a superfight in 2008.

I would like to see him against Margarito and them Williams. It will be interesting to see if he can take Margarito now that he has a hell of a trainer and good sparring. Thoughts?:stir:

WOw, this will be ugly. Feliciano is tough as nails...but he eats way too many. Pray for Mojo.

 For fuck sakes,..I'd preferr him give Zab his inevitable next consecutive oppurtunity,...Jessie Felacio? WTF!?..

Cintron is worse than Calzaghe,..but then again...Cintron's "belt" at 147 means about as much as Pauli Malignaggi's "belt" at 140.

i agree but after that other guy just got his head bounced around i wonder how many welterweights actually wanna fight Cintron.
he has a belt but still is very high risk and 0 reward.
He's not the best but one right hand by that fucker and it's night night.

    Disagree.

Fighters aren't going to be afraid of Cintron knowing he fell apart against Margarito so badly and went life and death with Estrada.

    Plenty of reward: a belt.

He hits hard, but there aren't many blowouts on his resume and it's not like it's that impressive of a resume.

Good that he's staying active. If someone is active, I don't mind a tune-up here and there. I have issues with fighters who fight twice a year with a tune-up.

Don't think so, Mathysse just had gone 10 rounds with the so "feared" Punisher Williams before getting TKO'd. Cintron Blew him out of there like a torpedo hiting a shack. The problem is Other then Margarto who has always shown a GREAT CHIN to with stand up to a good shot who else can take a straight right & Left hook from Cintron without crumbling and then getting laught at because the so called BUM just KUTFO?

Cintron is a big hitter, but his punches are still wide and looping...though it looks like he may have cleaned it up a bit.

Still, the guy is all arms in the ring...he needs the right distance to land those punches.

 Not me. I never liked him. But I must admit he looked impressive Saturday night. I won't be sold on him until he fights Margarito or Williams. Then we will talk:lol:
