You don´t think that wasn´t scripted? They saw how much stupid media attention Vargas/Mayorga shoving contest got and decided to have a little PPV sales push of their own.

I'm not saying he cant win. He can outpoint B-Hop(I'm picking Nard though) but he sure as hell aint kickin B-Hop's ass! Winky is just lucky Hop aint 6-7 years younger, and at 160, or else HE'D be getting his ass kicked! As it is, B-Hop is too old to put a beating on him, but I still think he'll outbox him.

Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, has ordered that 10% of Bernard Hopkins' $3 million purse be withheld for pushing Winky Wright in the face during Thursday's weigh-in. The incident initiated a brief scuffle. At the end of the month, the commission will rule on whether "The Executioner" will be fined or suspended over the incident.

Has this happened before? I've never heard of a portion of a fighter's purse being witheld for this type of stuff. Plus 10 percent sounds like a loit. This stuff happens in boxing all the time.

 

Seems weak to me. The pre-corporate Hopkins would have threatened to pull out over this.

 

Yup, pre Golden Boy Hops would have done that for sure. Plus I wonder if Winky is going to get fined for retaliating, somehow I don't think so though.
