Except the klitschkos??? I think he could move up and defeat the likes of Ibragimov, Chagaev, Maskaev Holyfield, etc...but not the bigger men like wladimir, vitaly, etc... what do you say?? I think he might even beat o´neil bell and mormeck if he wants to...in a boring fashion.....but he can beat them all, he´s too smart

But he doesn't need to Haymaker I mean he has plenty of great fights to take and with his discipline he could move up and down in weight. Frankly if he gets a little more size to fight Joe and could carry the weight that would be an accomplishment IMO.
I believe that Hops, himself, has said that with his style, he wouldn't really be able to fight effectively above light heavy.
Oh please, old man Hops will get raped by any of the heavyweight champions, not just the Klits. So Hops out pointing midget Wright over 12 rounds got you all excited, eh? ::
You can only move up drastically in weight if your plan is to strictly RUN and pot shot,..Hopkins has been mauling on smaller opponents and fouling them for years, I think it'll be difficult for him to transform himself into a runner and effectively get away with it,..it wouldn't be a wise idea to smother and punch a raging heavyweight in the balls, I think all them titlists beat his old arse, including Maskaev. He may outpoint Holyfield though.
If there was ever a way to make the heavyweight division even less interesting, this is it. Could you even imagine how bad a Hopkins\Ruiz fight could be? TFK
:: sorry brother Hay... it just made me laugh.. it's not even "could he do well??" it's "could he DOMINATE" :atu:
