About marge, it's sometimes hard to tell with pics, unless it's very clear, with both guys standing up straight etc. Sometimes people are leaning, or one is further to the front or back etc.

The main reason I thought he had to be less than 5'11 is because he was absolutely DWARFED by Williams.

Williams was listed as 6'1 to marge's 5'11 - a 2 inch difference. That was like a 5 inch height difference at least, which made me think he was about 5'9, and williams 6'2.

So you really reckon floyd is a legit 5'8? Do you have the pic to post? I have not seen it.

I am surprised you say Judah and El Terrible are the same height. Judah looks like 5'6, and Erik really looks 5'8/5'9 to me.

In that photo it could be 3 inches, however - Floyd appears to be leaning in a bit, so your 2 inches is probably correct. I guess floyd is a legit 5'8, which I thought he was, he doesn't look that short.

I ain't met many fighters. I've met Lennox and Chuvalo in the vip lounge of a canadian boxing event. Lennox was about 6-7" taller than me. I'd say the top of my head was a bit higher than his chin.

 

So he is only 5'9 or 5'10, to your 5'3? :: ::

 

I want to know Vitali's real height,..he had more than I expected on Jameel.

 

Oh, you meant boxers' heights when they're standing up? I was standing and he was sitting when we shook hands. I never saw him standing up, he was only sitting.

 

Jameel lost a couple of inches after his knee surgery.

i have a pic with McCline and i'm 6'2 i think he's 6'5 and Vitali is 6'8 about 3 inches between each...

I always agreed with this, too X. Merchant even commented in an early Tyson fight (pre title) that Mike was nowhere near 5'11, but closer to 5'9 1/2, which is incidently what he was measured at by the New York commision as an amature. But then during Tua-Ruiz, Merchant contradicted that by saying that when they had him in the studio and stood him up to measure they were surprised that he actually was 5'11. So who knows? One things for - he looks way taller than Tua's 5'9 in the ring. Maybe squat guys just look shorter than they are.

One height that's deffinitly bogus is Mosley's 5'9 IMO.

 

Mosley is about 5'6 1/2

Look at that pic again, look how much further up REED's eyes are than Floyd's. The only reason I think there's only a 2 inch height difference is because Floyd's forehead is bigger, so it evens things up a bit.

And tito really does look about 5 inches taller than Cotto in that pic, bear in mind he is leaning in, if he stood up straight it's a good 5 inches.

 

Royness - seeing weigh in pics of them, and them actually fighting in the ring, do you dispute that there's a 2 inch height difference between floyd and oscar? Because that's what it is, yet if anything REED looks bigger than oscar does next to floyd, between a 2 and 3 inch height difference. You seem to think an inch is much bigger than it really is, like 4 or 5 cm:notallthere:

 

Look at this pic, you'll see tito is leaning in a bit, not standing up straight, and the top of his head is cut off. And a pic of cigarettes is almost 4 inches high, you're saying Tito is not 5 inches taller than cotto? :: Is this also a 1 or 2 inch height advantage?

How much taller did you think Williams was than Margarito? Did it look like the 2 inch height advantage they said it was? ::

at the kick off presser me and Tony's co-manager Sergio Diaz were commenting on how much taller Willliams looked in the pictures of the presser but in reality Williams was about 3 inches taller which holds.

at the final presser and weigh in the height difference still held true

oh and Chico is a legit 5'11 1/2 maybe even 6ft

 

I was at the pre fight press conference for Margarito/Williams. From my view, Margarito is 5'10, and Paul Williams is 6'2 1/2. The difference in height between the two is 4 1/2"
4 1/2" is a significant difference.
